April 24, 2011 To whom it may concern, I have been having a problem lately with my boyfriend and i don't have any idea what i can do to help the situation. Life, Love And Fubar Part 3
OK, well I guess this has to be the last update of this blog, the reasons for which will become apparent if you read on a little.. Chemo has started and bar the odd nausea session and the ever present tiredness, that seems to be going ok... Radiotherapy started too... Unfortunately, that has been a problem. Things aren't going great and they have had to stop.. The reason?? Well I'm lead to understand that radiotherapy irradiates the general area where the cancer is and kills the cells there. This is actually quite a good thing because whereas cancer cells don't regenerate, the human bodys cells do! Yayy!! Way to go cells!! Yeah, they regenerate and become as good as new... all except mine! Mine for some reason disintergrate. After just 3 sessions, they have had to stop because I am having a bleed problem from not only my mouth and nose, but also from some quite substancial skin damage around my general chest area... And for some really strange reason, most of my teeth have suddenly b

Lucky Finds
I have always consider myself a tolerant and open-minded person. Or at least i try to be. I am so glad that i am not one where first impressions last. For when i first joined fubar, i had encountered not just a few really weird ones. I found me some nastty ones, indeed. But I am real happy that i decided to first look more closely, be more observant and patient. And it paid off. For i found me some real friends. When driving on the interstate at 70mph and a bug flies into your windshield....... it takes 3 days to come off. I grew up Christian, more specifically Lutheran. See when you are a Christian, apparently you have to then specify your denomination to help legitimize your status. I find it quite amazing that so many people read from the same book, the same words, yet they turn them and twist them into such differences. One of the areas that sticks out is Lent. Many Catholics give up something for Lent and they dont eat meat on Fridays. This practice is widely accepted and is the reason there are Friday night "fish frys" and pepper and egg sandwiches as well as the double fillet o fish sandwich at Mc Donalds. The funny thing about this widely accepted practice is, there's no commandment from God, Jesus, the apostles, or anyone else to do this. Ohhh How Time Goes By So Fast!
This weekend is a big one for me. Why? Well it started 18 years ago when I was real young. I had a baby girl, I watched her grow and sometimes she fell. She surprised me through all the tough times in our life. All I ever wanted was that she not have a child young (not that it's a bad thing) and I wanted her to graduate high school. I wanted her to be the person I knew she could be. This Saturday is prom night for her. I didn't think she was going to go until at the last minute a boy asked her too. Monday was spent finding the perfect dress, earrings, shoes, make-up, and the whole nine yards. I was in tears when we found the dress she wanted. I will do my best not to be in tears as I watch my little girl go with her friends to prom. However I will pray that they get there safe and come home safe. The next step for me is watching her graduate high school this June! She grew up way to fast....ohhhh how time goes bye so fast. I am so proud of her!

He suffered a concussion and nerve damage, but the doctor said that he will be okay. He is looking forward to competing in two to three weeks as long as the doctor releases him. It seems that he was expecting the bull to move left, and he was sitting for it to do just that, but the bull went right, and when it went up the horn (sawed down, thank God) hit him in the head, thus the concussion. Update 4/17/11
Well I came back to PA today after spending another week in Columbus with my family. As of when I left this morning, Kyle is completely off the sedative drip and is on Methadone and Valium that they are injecting straight into his feeding tube (stomach absorbs more than IV) he opened his eyes a few times but there is no recognition or anything really, it's like the old saying, the lights are on but no one is home, at least for now... On March 29, 2011, I posted a picture of my daughter Mackenzie (left) and her biological half sister Lindsey (right) whom my daughter had met for the first time in her life on that day. Sadly, Lindsey was in a fatal car accident on Friday, April 15, 2011 which took her life.
