So, this is something that I would like to do something with. What, I am not sure. This was something that I had to right when applying for a script writing project a long while back. It wasn't anything paid, it was just a project among friends mostly. I got an e-mail today with an update of where things are...keep in mind, during Fall, I was told they were just overloaded with cases, so it was just moving slow. Here is part of the e-mail I got from the liason of my Guard medical clinic, as she is just the messanger in this. "When I contacted the case manager she was under the impression that your case had already been to the board. Please understand that she is a one person shop and has to review all cases for our region. Your case had not been to the board yet and when she asked the board where it was in the process, they could not locate the record. Spending Time Being Me
I know my blog is way too late but you know what? I was living my life. I am home from Adelaide with so much happiness in my heart. The journey was so worthwhile because when I planned to go I was worried that it would work out. My venue was the town hall which to be honest wasn’t perfect as a venue, it was too stuffy, too quiet and most nights they shut the bar. That isn’t good is it? The other shows in the venue struggled to get an audience so therefore I didn’t have people to ‘feed off’ as I expected audiences would have wandered about the place. My brother is the town sprem donor and I have several nephews and a niece I try to see and take care of as often as possible. Well I just found out my nephew (who is 2) just climbed out his brothers window and went to the neighbors house to pet their dog. Surgery
I had surgery on my right eye on Tuesday. Three weeks after having surgery done to fix a complicating caused by my diabetes (which is healing nicely, but still healing from) and two week from having surgery on my left eye. I am doing well at the moment. Was a long tuesday morning but once we got into surgery the day went fast, By the time the day was done, majority of it was a blur, but I was home and safe, resting and done. I will know more on Wednesday how it all went so will be starting to recover from that and start getting ready for the next one. I like to thank all that have giving me support by messages, calling me (especially on the day of surgery), and those driving me back and forth to/from all the surgeries. Came home from work, ate dinner, started playing some old school Super Mario Brothers on the Wii... One of the kids' friends (Who was playing with us 15 minutes earlier) came running into the apartment, crying. One of the kids' friends was hit by a car in front of the apartment complex. He was 16. Always there with a smile, always friendly to everyone. Dead at 16. I'm in shock, the kids are hysterical, the wife is taking it hard. Wife tried to find someone to cover her shift, but couldn't. It was rough, the accident happened right at the only entrance to the apartment complex. We had to drive past the boy's body, draped in a sheet. His sneakers still on the other side if the highway. It's going to be a long, sleepless night. Rest in Peace, Jesse. You will be missed.

This blog is about a sad day. This past sunday, March 13th (yesterday) buffalo lost one of the biggest legends ever to step on NHL ice. Around noon, Rick Martain (#7) died of a massive heart attack while driving his car, on main street in clearance ny. Its one thing for a sport to lose someone so famous. Its a loss to the sport and the team he played for, but this time it was different. While growing up, I met him a few times. He use to hang out at the bar my father went to. So, I've seen him, talked to him. This time, the loss feels more personal. I sit here, and glance over at the two things I have that he autographed for me. I think, "man, I'll never see him again" and how much he'll be missed by everyone that met him. He made you feel like he knew you for years, like you were buds. Of course Grindpa Harvie is not my real name. That name has a story which I am about to share with you. Once upon a time, at the end of 2004, I frequently hung out on Yahoo! chat. Pain In The Ass
My 9 year old nephew has this little female friend, that I swear is the most obnoxious kid I've stumbled across in quite some time. The kids start school at 8:30 and can't even be at the school until 8:20, yet every morning she's ringing the doorbell at 7:15 to wake him up and get ready. Fuckin why? When he walks around the house trying to get ready, she follows him everywhere, including attempting to follow him when my sister says she needs to talk to him alone. I'm sorry, but I see no reason she needs to be there that early. She knows on Monday-Wednesday mornings he's at his dad's. Does that stop her from ringing the bell that early? No. Worst part is she'll text him at 6:45 to tell him to be ready when she knows he's there. If he's at his dad's and doesn't text back, she just comes over and rings the bell for no reason. Mom
Haven't done THIS in a long long time! Mom is out of hospital & in a skilled nursing facility for the time being.....let's see.....she had pneumonia, shingles & an infection in her blood. First Day At Work Again
so i had my knee surgery on friday. it was succesful... it hurts, but i'm okay. i come home, switch on the tv and see all the shit that happened in japan.people die or are missed, nuclear plants get out of control. people have no home. that was 3 days ago. and things over there get even worse. so now today i'm back in the office. and i feel bad. not because my knee hurts, but because i noticed how unimportant my little self is. and then i read a fubar status like "oh please can i get a pimpout"... should i laugh about that or cry because some people just don't get it?
