This is my first blog so bare with me here. I am not the greatest when it comes to grammar so, I am sorry about that. First of all let me say I love the Earth, I don't litter and I recycle. I try to pick up trash when I see it and I don't keep lights on in my house when I am not using them. With that being said, I think we are going a little overboard on this whole "Green" deal. The Earth is a strong place and I don't think anything we can do will destroy it. Al Gores movie has been proven to be a lie. The polar ice caps might be melting but, they have melted before. Finding Me...
I took a step today... and it got me thinking... and I may just be on to something... I may be on the path to finding myself again... Today I signed up for a dance class. Sometimes you think about the many problems that are in your life. You don't want to make them other peoples problem. Depression is a major medical issue. I'm actually in a DECENT mood for once. I'm exhausted after waking up at 6 a.m. for the doctor and having not gone to sleep til midnight but I wanted to show that I'm not always moody as My last entries seem to show. I went to the doctor for My kidneys due to My primary care doctor seeing "masses" in one of them. The specialist said that they think she was seeing the cysts that I have in them which they say for the way My body is, is normal. So at least that much is off My mind. Now I just have to go on wednesday to see the other doctor about these stupid mini "seizures" I guess I've been having for a while. I just hope they find them easily taken care of as well. I have too much to do this month to have medical problems, with having the next event for our charity to work on and finish and all.

Last Tuesday (April 5th) I got a hysterical call about 9:30 pm from my mom saying I needed to get back home (in Ohio) that my brother had shot himself. I woke up to find Major laying peacefully in his bed. Just like his mother Sissy, He passed away sometime during the night. And just like her, I did not see it coming! Having dogs is one the best things I know of in life. They make me so happy, and their love is unconditional. I guess my only consolation is that I now have his son Mickey to live on his stead. I loved that dog, I had only had him a short time. He has always lived with my mother, but recently he had decided that he only wanted to be with me. He must have known his time was coming. That maybe I could deal with his loss better than my mom. I just don't know. I know he adored me and was truly happy in my home. I am so sad and bewildered right now. It is a sad day in my family and a very sad day in the Yorkshire Terrier world. He was a National Champion and famous throughout the country. I love you Major! I miss you! My Story
She had been home from the hospital for 2 weeks....but something was wrong. She couldn't wake up. Not fully anyway. She had to pee and in her half asleep fog, she tried to make it to the bathroom, but fell. I rushed to her and helped her get up and to the toilet. "WTF?" i was thinking...."she had been doing okay. What the fuck is going on?" For 2 days I'd been doing this. Sleepless nights, trying to go to work, but too afraid to leave her alone. "Okay" i thought too myself, "that's it." I called an ambulance, they came and got her & i followed. Once she was in the ER, her doctor, who just happened to be there, gave her a shot of something & within 15 minutes, my Tracey was back, wondering what the hell happened. I remember feeling relived...hugs & kisses were abound. Her doctor comes in and tells her: "If you go back home, you ll die there." She was admitted. The next week goes by, im dividing my time between work and the hospital, endless nights are many...life becomes a blur

Just A Rant
Ever since I have been in a wheelchair the last 2 years I have noticed things that just piss me off. I hate whenever I go into a public restroom and all the stalls are open and there is some jack ass in the handicap stall. I choose to use the bigger stall over the smaller ones because why? So now I have to wait till he is done because I can’t use the other stalls! Just pisses me off!! Another thing that gets me pissed is when people use a handicap placard to park in a handicap parking spot when they are not handicap. I see it all the time. And I don't consider being overweight a handicap!! I don't understand how a person can get disabled tags for being overweight. Having A Hard Time
The hardest thing that I am dealing with right now is the sense of not being good enough anymore. My whole life I have strived to be the best at everything I do. I have never let anyone tell me that I couldn’t do all the things that I wanted to do. While I was in the Army I felt like I was a part of something bigger then myself. Story Of How I Was Injured
I wrote this like 2 years ago.......a lot has changed since then! Let me give you a little background about m. I am married and have 2 kids. I have been in the Army for 11 years and was stationed at Fort Lewis (the first Stryker Brigade). While on my 2nd deployment to Iraq I was injured by an E.F.P. and lost both my legs. For those of you that don't know what an E.F.P. is I will explain. An E.F.P. is an Explosively Formed Penetrator. It is basically a metal cylinder filled with explosives and on the top of it is a copper plate. When it blows up the copper plate gets super charged can go through armor like it's butter.
