My granddaughter Mookie's having major surgery today, it's supposed to last 12hrs. or more and I don't mind telling you that Nana and I are very (worried shitless) concerned. We've known it was coming for a good while now, but that doesn't make it any less serious. She's only just turned 5 recently and although I'm not the most faithful or religious person you'll ever meet, we pray that God will give her the strength she needs to see her through...
