My Family
Well some of my financial worry is over, phewwwwwww!!! My oldest son finally got a job working in the same place as his dad. Its only causual but yanno its a foot in the door. Now its trying to find my youngest a better job t hen he has working at the drug store only one day a week. He wants more hours and something a bit more interesting. And now that ever one is working, I am the only one home . I try and do as much house work as I can in a day, not to mention try and think of something interesting for suppers. I gave up long ago asking, "what do you guys want for supper." I get "what ever is in the fridge." Now that tells me a lot ..NOT!!! And they seem to think once they arrive home they can just plunk their shit on the floor and do zip the rest of the night. WRONG!! One Year Anniversary
Today is my one year anniversary of quitting smoking.. I didn't realize how many people I knew actually smoked. Im kind of jealous. I loved smoking, it felt and tasted soooooooooooooo good... For those of you who dont know why i quit ill give you a quick note. My mother was a top model in england before she met my dad.. ALl my life my mother was very beautiful and always took pride in it. My mother a year and a half ago found out she had cancer.. Her first treatment of chemo about 3 days later she was touching her hair and a hand full came out.. on this day a year ago my mother shaved her head and i quit smoking... For Drill who inspired me to write a poem... I loved smoking... its like a good poking.. ..Inhaling that black tar it made me run not so far... Learning To Not Trust My Heart
I have learned that trusting the heart is the wrong thing to do. As I get older I realize now that guys like me are pretty much the joke of society. Domestic Abuse, Red Card It!
This blog is in conjunction with the Red Card Campaign on Twitter. Scotland’s domestic abuse statistics rise by 80% after a Rangers and Celtic football match was reported by assistant Chief Constable Neilson of Strathclyde Police. During an Old Firm match serious and violent crimes can double. After one football game back in February this year, police were called out to 185 incidents of domestic abuse- a jump of 52% compared to weekends when a match is not being played. Assistant Chief Constable John Neilson said the force arrested more than 550 people on the day of the match - all of whom were drunk. Officers also had to contend with a rise in the number of attempted murders, assaults, and breaches of the peace. And such incidents have peaked during the past Old Firm showdowns during this year. I was on the potty this morning passing my morning toffee, and I was thinking about how much crap we give Internet DJs, those folks who are all like "Yo I am a DJ" and we are like "Yo shut up" and we make fun of them. Well, it occured to me that actually what they do is a thing, it's not like it's all pretend. They provide music in a place online where people listen to music, and actually there's nothing inherently stupid about that. It seems most of the objections arise from the fact that there is an associated skillset that is central to the concept of a 'DJ' that picking some songs for your computer to play on an internet doesn't require. It's the self-aggrandisement of calling yourself a 'DJ' that rankles. So, the obvious answer is some kind of alternative title - one that doesn't suggest skills that aren't involved in the activity of being a online musicman. Longer Than Long Day
I believe I just had the longest day ever! And I'm not 100% sure if it is over. This morning started off by waking up at 6 AM to get ready to go to the doctor, and go there by 7:20 AM. When I got called back, I thought I could do it, I was going to go in and be cool. Well the doctor came in judging me due to the letter I wrote to the head of the board that I was told was not going to go outside of the board. I think the only thing the doctor did for me that was good was to start me on the Gardasil vaccination, due to the fact that I have a lot of family members who have had all sorts of cancers. Needless to say I will not be going back to him unless it is for another Gardasil vaccination, UNLESS I go into my OB/GYN on the 8th of October and he tells me he can finish the vaccination up for me. Floral Garden Of Life
