1 Year Ago
It has been one year since the massacre of those innocent people. I still to this day get tears when I deliver the mail to those boxes. All those lives shattered...and I often wonder why I was spared. I also thank God that I was. They had a memorial service 2 nights ago..It was so sad. All the family and friends of the slain were there...remembering their loved ones and clinging to each other for comfort. The healing will be a long time in coming...if it ever does. I hope and pray this insanity never happens again.

The Real Number Of Members On Fu
As with anything numbers or statistics that are placed on anything one must remember that there are 2 that stick out in the mind. The REAL NUMBER and THE INFLATED NUMBER. There are claimed to be 3.5 Million Members on FuBar. I beleive there may be in the neighborhood of 3.5 Million accounts but, I have some questions. How many of these accounts are subtracted from the real numbers when they are deleted ? (This idea stolen from Papi, just so you know) I haven't been on as much, as some of you may or may not have noticed. I started working and although it's not 40 hours a week, it's a job none-the-less and takes time out of my day. I also have 3 extra people living in my house now (so the total is now 6) so cleaning up after and cooking for 6 people is very time consuming. New Changes Started

I'm no furnituresmith, but I do know good furniture when I see it. Couches to climb and sit upon, dressers to open and empty, and chairs to climb and throw myself from. Not a very good day at all, I found out when my dad stopped over today that my uncle is in ICU at Munson Hospital in Traverse City after my aunt found him unconscious and he had a massive stroke on Monday night so needless to say I am worried about him and my aunt plus worried about my dad who just had outpatient heart catheterization surgery to put a stint for an artery that was 90% percent blocked so it is a very trying time here that's for sure!

One Step At A Time
Just an update on what's going on my end....I finally had the courage to tell one of my parents today about what's been happening in my life. I had given him a phone call the other night telling him that I needed to talk to him that was really important that involved me and my husband, Richard. We made arrangements and we went out for lunch together on his lunch break. It was really hard for me to tell him because I had no idea how he would react. But to my surprise, he took it pretty well. I had explained to him that things have been real rocky in our relationship for a couple years and that I was finally fed up and I wanted a divorce. I told him how I have been really unhappy with him and I couldn't keep living like this and wanted to move on. Cats In The Cradle...
My dad isnt a very emotional guy. When our grandmother (his mom) passed away I dont even ever remember seeing him cry a single tear. I dont remember us doing anything with him while growing up. It was always with my mom. When we finished school, there was no hug or even a handshake or him saying "Im proud of you" just a kinda... nod that he does when he sees something he likes. It's been a very long day. I was going to blog about something and now I can't remember what it was. Looks like you're going to get second best. Yep. Anyway, today was my boss's birthday. I wouldn't have known but she sent me a text this morning that said "Happy Birthday to me!" I kind of felt bad because I didn't pay attention to her birthday announcement on facebook. This Is Why I Hate Going To The Dentist
So, personally, I'm scared. Mostly because I don't know what to expect. It's the fear of the unknown I suppose. SO, went ot the dentist today. The one I went to, well they were assholes the entire time. even yelled at me for yelping when they hit a cavity. The patients aren't separated by rooms but by little dividers. You can see your neighbors feet and them twitching in pain. They didn't talk to me except to tell me to shut up. Litterally. No "how ar eyou today I see you haven't been in in years, nervous? heres the proceedure we will be using" I asked what instruments were to calm myself down. They told me not ot worry abou tit. I got my teeth cleaned and checked. I've got 4 cavities they say are new and caused by my 3 wisdom teeth pushing on my teeth and cracking them. I've also very sensitive teeth. -_- well. Adventures In Mooseland Part 1
Soooooo.... Ive been in Canadadadadaaaa for a little of a week now, and things are going splendidly :) We landed in Vancouver after a flight from hell (10 fvcking hours of the little shit in the row in front playing Dora DVDS), and what a groovey little city that was. Great food, great beers, great junkies in Zombie town. If youre ever in town on a monday night, I thoroughly recommend Evil Bastards karaoke night at Pub 340. Alas, we had to leave and attempt to drive to Calgary in one day. Did. Not. Work. Stayed in a nice little town called Golden where the rednecks took to me like Ex Canadian Government Ministers to cyclists. Still, was only for the night and there was a devine greek resturaunt next to the hotel. Next day saw us in Bannf, but only for coffee, then on through the Rockies (A-MAZ-ING) and into Calgary. all my years alive i was tought that friends are there for you no matter what. They love to talk to you everyday and will do anything for you. Over the past couple of years it seems that almost everybody has lost that sence of being a friend. Now its who has what and how much they make and how they look. Have we became that shallow? Is it so hard to actuely be friends with people for who they are and not what they are or what they have or look like? I have kept to being a friend for who that person is inside not what they look like on the outside or what they have or can offer me. If everybody went back to that sence of friendship there would be lesss depression in the world. Guilt
So I just asked my cousin for the money that she owed me from about a year ago. (70 pounds) Considering I didn't have much money to spend for my birthday on wednesday I kinda had to do it, although she owed it to me I still feel guilty as she can't even pay me back the full amount. So, I was on my way to work (at a hotel), about to make a right turn onto a little street where my hotel located, when I saw a silver SUV making a left hand turn in the opposite lane. I turned first, and he followed. When I was done, I looked in the rear view mirror, and ...he wasnt there. I couldnt figure out where he went, since he was supposed to be right behind me. I even waited in a parking lot, to see if he would drive by, and nothing. When I came in to the front desk, my coworker said that she was out for a smoke at 11pm, and saw 3 identical SUVs leave the back parking lot. I told her about the SUV that followed me, but disappeard afrerwards. I asked her about the color of those 3 SUVs, and she said "silver" Sooo...wtf?? We have had some shady individuals come in to do some really shady business. ANd I am speculating that those SUVs are either feds, or the mafia helpers or something.

Trip To The Zoo

Earlier this week i read an article out of Texas where the most recent death penalty execution victim may have been innocent. Apparently, new evidence has been brought to lite that corroberates the executed man's story. I have been an opponent of the death penalty my entire life, not for the reasons of cruelty but for this very reason. I believe it is wrong to have an 'ultimate' penalty in place when ANY legal system will be flawed in some way. There is no 'oops' in death. Even if a person is wrongfully incarcerated for decades, some compensation and justice can be meted out. It bothers me more because, as only the 'State' may execute, that means WE, all of us, as we are the "State' of murdering an innocent person. I simply do not want that on my 'soul'.
