New Year Day With A Funny Ending!!!
Yet again, we celebrated another holiday with Adam's family. Booze, jello shots, balloons, and appitizers, always a great party deal. His family and family friends are so damn fun to be around, I love being here in Utah. Torchwood Season Ending, Sarah Jane Adventures?!?
For those who follow Doctor Who and Torchwood, the final 2 episodes for the end of season one of Torchwood finished in Britain today. BUT Sarah Jane Adventures started January 1st on BBC, which according to Wikipedia seems to be a Doctor Who for children. I'm just grabbing the first episode, but after I read the description on Wikipedia, Sarah Jane carries around the female version of the Sonic Screwdriver, which is now called the Sonic Lipstick?!? Now I'm worried. BTW: Torchwood is awesome once you take the swearing and sexual references out of the storyline. Episode 4 of Torchwood was AWESOME!!! With the swearing, it seemed like they forced the swearing into the series to make it more adult based, c'mon people. Don't make the show cheap, cause Torchwood isn't! Chicken recipe with angel hair pasta is made with chicken breasts, broccoli, garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Cook chicken, stirring, until chicken is cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove chicken with slotted spoon to paper towels.Add remaining 1 teaspoon oil and 1 teaspoon butter to skillet; add carrot and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes. INGREDIENTS: * 20 to 24 chicken drumsticks * 1/2 cup all-purpose flour * 2 1/2 teaspoons salt * 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper * 2 teaspoons paprika * 1 teaspoon curry powder * 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning * 1/2 cup butter PREPARATION: Heat oven to 450° In a food storage bag, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, curry powder, and poultry seasoning. Line 2 13x9-inch pans with heavy duty foil.. Place 1/4 cup butter in each pan. Place pans in oven to melt butter.Coat chicken with seasoned flour mixture, shaking about 3 legs at a time in the bag. Place chicken in prepared pans in the melted butter. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Turn over and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer, or until tender and nicely browned. Serves 8.

INGREDIENTS: * 3 to 4 pounds chicken pieces * 1/4 cup vegetable oil * 1 clove garlic, crushed * 1 1/2 teaspoons salt * 1/4 teaspoon pepper * 1/2 cup chicken broth * 1 1/2 pounds small new potatoes * 2 to 4 tablespoons red wine, optional * 1 package (10 ounces) frozen green peas PREPARATION: Heat oil in heavy skillet over medium heat. Brown chicken on all sides. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of the oil. Add garlic, salt, pepper, chicken broth, potatoes, and wine. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add peas and simmer 10 minutes longer. Taste and season with more salt, if desired. Skillet chicken recipe serves 4.

An easy Mexican-style chicken bake with salsa and corn chips. INGREDIENTS: * 4 to 5 boneless chicken breast halves * 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup * 3/4 cup chunky salsa or diced tomatoes with green chile peppers * 4 cups corn chips * 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese or Mexican mixture of cheeses PREPARATION: Arrange chicken breasts in an 11x7-inch baking dish. A quick chicken Marengo recipe, made with prepared spaghetti sauce, chicken pieces, small white onions, and mushrooms. Serve chicken Marengo with spaghetti or your favorite cooked pasta. INGREDIENTS: * 2 1/2 to 3 pounds chicken pieces * 3 tablespoons olive oil * 24 ounces spaghetti sauce * 1 can (4 ounces) mushrooms, drained * 1 cup frozen small white onions, cooked, or use 1 can (8 ounces) boiled small white onions, drained PREPARATION: Wash chicken pieces and pat dry. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium high heat, or to about 350° in an electric frying pan. Add chicken pieces; brown well on both sides.Place chicken pieces in a 9x13x2-inch baking dish. Pour spaghetti sauce over the chicken. Cover dish with foil; bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Add mushrooms and onions to the casserole; continue baking, uncovered, for 20 minutes longer. Serve with cooked spaghetti or other pasta. Serves 4.

INGREDIENTS: * 1/2 cup lemon juice * 1 cup Italian salad dressing * 2 to 3 pounds chicken pieces * 1 1/2 cups corn flake crumbs * 1 1/2 teaspoons salt * 1/2 cup melted butter PREPARATION: Mix lemon juice and salad dressing. Place chicken in a heavy duty food storage bag; add dressing mixture. Seal and chill for 3 to 5 hours, turning bag occasionally to marinate all pieces. Heat oven to 350°.

Her and I were'nt especially close so I had no idea until I was told the day before Xmas. My mother told me she was sick for a while but never bothered to get herself checked out. By the time she did get herself checked out it was too late. the cancer had spread over most of her body. Why am I wasting your time with this? Simple She was a daughter a mother a sister a friend and someone who passed way before her time. Look I know I don't know most of you and proably never will But PLEASE get yourselves checked out. Don't do it for me. Do it for those that matter to you do it for yourselves your parents your children your friends. Walnut Chicken Recipe
INGREDIENTS: * 3 to 4 pounds chicken pieces * 1/4 cup vegetable oil * 1 cup sliced fresh or frozen green beans * 3/4 cup sliced celery, with some leaves * 1 teaspoon salt * 1 teaspoon brown sugar * 1/4 teaspoon pepper * 1 cup chicken broth * 1 tablespoon cornstarch * 1 tablespoons soy sauce * 1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms * 1 can (5 ounces) sliced water chestnuts * 1/2 cup walnuts PREPARATION: In a large heavy skillet, heat oil. Back To The Grind
I have to go back to all of my classes tomorrow-blah. I really do not feel like it. I got quite comfortable sleeping in and going to work. Staying up late playing the Wii was good too. That will probably still go on. Just waiting for graduation in April. Then I can sleep in everyday til I decide to start job hunting LoL. I also forgot to buy a bus pass. I'm definatly not driving down there because it is like 10 dollars to park. I guess I'll either have to get up earlier and go buy one, or just pay to ride for the day. I hate public transportation. 2006 is almost down the drain. and so is my freedom. At the end of December Im moving back in with my parents house just around the corner. Crap. Cursed New Years.....
After this weekend I am totally convinced that my New Years are cursed! At 1:32 am Sunday morning we lost power..the whole town! It did not come back on until around 9:15 pm Monday night. Luckily, my parents have a gas furnace in their old house so them, my brother and his family, and I have been there since early Sunday. I do count my blessings that we had heat and the ability to have warm food. Most of western ks (where I'm at) was with out power..and my town was the last in the county to lose it. This Doesn't Affect Me, But...
I don't really agree with the new rule that you have to have a salute photo to get off of Level 10. What if you don't want your face all over the internet? Or don't have a digital camera to take a picture of yourself holding a Cherrytap sign? I just don't think you should be forced to have a salute photo if you want to level up. Back To Work
Well I'm going back to work tomorrow. I've been off since Dec. 22/06. b/c of the Christmas holidays. I'm really not looking forward on going back to work though at all. but at least i'm going back on afternoons instead of day shift. cause i've been staying up until 5-6 every morning. so i'm just glad that i'm not going on day shift then. :D. Global Warming! Our Sun! Thank you time line. The sun died in the future. Well what happened is the sun expanded and has gone Nova. This makes the sun a million time bigger in the future. It has got bigger and will fry the Earth. Its now massive and close to the Earth. The two planets closer to the sun are abolished and destroyed in seconds. The sun is so powerful that it sucks in time as it expands outwards towards the Earth. It then sends that heat down the time line. It will now get hotter and melt the polar caps up north faster as the heat travels down the time line to our current time. This in gerneral will make it hotter every year. I really enjoy this site. I have chatted with some very nice people and I enjoy the lack of teenagers too. His liver enzymes continued to climb and his blood cells began freaking out, so they tried Plasma Pharesis (or TURC). Before we met I had been through failed relationship after failed relationship. Life Before Chris
Well, Chris did a blog about his life before me and what he has gone through, so I thought I should do one too. As Chris said too, I had been through my share of failed relationships. Got married the first time at a young age... had my son Ryan when I was 22. When Ryan was 9 months old I left his father as he was abusive. 2007: A New Year's Tale
What's so great about going to the end of the year bash at the Hilton Torrey Pines? VIP access, dancing to one of the world's most famous DJ's and free booze. What's not so great about this bash? Less Then A Month
Well the time is getting closer now. I only got 22 days left until my boy leaves for basic. God I have no clue why or how I keep putting myself through all this. I just went through it from May to October and now Im gonna go through it again. Why do I feel that he doesn't want to be seen in public with me. Am I really that ugly, or am I just being paraniod? Here's something to consider. A few years back I had some friends that didn't travel in the same circles, the only common factor was me. Honestly I try to be nice, civil and friendly. Well these two friends hated each other, the drama went back to something that happened before they knew me. I hated having to travel from one end of the bar to the other to talk with both my friends. After a few months of this I was fed up. Got a plan to have them both have dinner with me at a nice place. Dispelling The Myth.
Apparently there is rumor going around that I am unleashing Viruses on CT so its time for me to give everyone a rundown on how this is not possible, and why it is being spread. 1. A new bulletin has been circulated and reposted by me, entitled Important News About Pts, Salutes, and VIC, to be reposted, I am sure, by others.
