my eleven year old son has been sick with stomach bug for a few days. as he is getting better is eating a bit.... last night we were all watching a movie and he said he felt gassy. i told him, you had better go in the bathroom just in case. then he spouts wisdom to rival Confucius.... Being Single
You know, for the longest time being single really didn't bug me, i figured more time to do what i wanted, more money in my pocket, etc. but so far that hasn't happened. Sorry to say that ThUmPeR has left us. He will be missed by many. Family, friends and loved ones:( To go at such a young age is heart breaking. He will be remembered by his kindness, friendship,caring,humor and the love he shared amongst us. A true friend. All of you may not have known him personally, but as a person he was he cared for all no matter what, new or old they were all in his heart. I'm going to say that I love my fiance more than anything. Ever since I've been with here, I've been forced to grow up, and be a man, but to be honest, I love it. I came into a relationship with her son (now ours ;) ) and now I'm a father. Did you know that once you reach level 26 (Disciple) you can't have a spotlight? Had I known that I probably would have tried to get a spotlight ahead of time. I Just Returned From 9 Days In The Cayman Islands But Missed A Jimmy Buffett Concert There
I just returned from my 9 day adventure on Grand Cayman Island while staying at a beachfront home I have access to and this trip was my best yet to this marvelous Caribbean paradise. The timing of my trip was good for great, warm, (90%) sunny weather, clear waters and it was it was in between major festivals so there was not the throngs of people everywhere. Evidence of the global economic downtown was noticeable however as some businesses closed early and some were near vacant when they should have been active. Some of my activities were new and some were renewed...but all were fun. Okay. This is my first time writing a blog. Normally I don't say anything that bothers me; however, this is and it's pissing me off cause it's happened to me and happening to my friends. My friend is really sick. Her doctor is being a lazy ass and NOT helping her. Seriously. She has strep throat, stomach flu, and God knows what else. The doc will NOT admit her. All the doc has done is run tests...come on...it's obvious that she is sick! People don't really fake their sickness if they are going to the hospital to get check out. Yet, it seems now a days the docs are only treating people not cause they are sick and they really need medical attention but only for the frickin' money. Docs make a crap load of money...granted. My previous screen name "Elaborate_Horizons" was a good name for me at the time it was created, with the end of my military career coming to an end and a new journey in life beginning. Just A Thought
Well yesterday was one of the hardest days I have had in awhile. When I left for work of course William left to go back to work...So he is out of town and I am here at home. I miss him like crazy but as always everything will be fine and he will be back home before I know it. I just love him with all my heart and miss him when he is gone. I can honestly say that he makes me happy and I have smiled and laughed more lately than I have in a very long time. Yea every once in awhile you have to deal with the tears but thats because I love him and miss him. I know he doesn't want me to cry or be sad when he leaves but hell when you love someone it just happens. I am just glad that we have such a great relationship and that he knows when he comes home that I will be waiting here at home for him. Clearing My Mind
Well, I arrived in Little ock Arkansas Last night and I am pretty upset with the hotel they have me in this time. It sn't the worst theyhave put mein but it isn't exactly the best for surroundings or environment. The chair I am sitting on is basically a two foottall padded box in front of a roll out dest next to a wall lacker style closet. My back is to the tv if that makes any sense and I have no arch support for my back at all. So, at best i will spend most of the time in the bed on the computer or in the lobby. We are basiclly paying for a week at a Comfort Inn style Hotel but I am at the Hampton Inn. This by far is the worst Hampton Inn I have lodged in yet. An the price is really no better than when we were staying at the Country Inn every where. I know it sounds like I m bitching alot but when you are living in Hotels for work about 40 to 45 weeks a year you tend to become a bit picky about where you like to stay. My night t work depends on the comfort of the hotel I stay in. You

I didn’t get here yesterday to blog because my workplace was closed due to a blizzard warning and a travel advisory to not be on the road unless you absolutely have to. The Hurt Is Still There

Monday Baby Update
Per ultra sound Ronnie Lee is measuring only 5 pounds which doc says he's right on target. My cervix is still nice and long, the 1-2 centimeter dilation is normal for someone who's already had 3 babies prior. Doc wants to hold me off for another 4 weeks when I'm 38 weeks. there are times when the body acts before reason has an opportunity to override foolishness. case in point... i enjoy making things that could result in serious injury or death, and my latest project was a potato gun. after getting it all assembled - complete with an electric bbq grill ignitor - i was experimenting with different propellants to see which would be the most effective. after a failed attempt with wd-40, i remeoved the cap from the combustion chamber and put a lighter to it to clear out the vapors. after lighting it, something told my body that it would be a good idea to blow into the flaming combustion chamber. about the time my lungs were expelling the air from within them, my mind woke up and said, "this is a very bad idea". but it was too late. the air was already moving. fortunately, my body was smart enough to not blow into the chamber directly. otherwise, the outcome could have been much worse. i walked away from this episode with only a little less

Watching The Sun Rise Again...
Maybe this whole, not being able to sleep thing has it's perks. The days seems to be blending in together. And I get silly. I get moments where, I can actually lay my head down and sleep for, say, seven hours. But, that happens like once a week. Sleeping pills I might take when I really feel sick from not sleeping. I don't want to be dependent on a pil, it's just not my style. I mean I used to be able to sleep on my own, what happened?
