Samsung's strategy to use pretty much all customer groups of the Ries, with many devices of different price ranges up to the premium segment continues to increase its market share in Germany, has calculated the market research company comScore for FOCUS. By contrast, Apple still slightly losing ground and is used only by 19 percent of smartphone users. According to calculations of the market research firm Kantar were only 11 percent of smartphones sold between May and July in Germany by Apple. The new iPhones, which will be presented on September 10, are but is expected to again increase the values for Apple, in the fourth quarter.

Nokia, the biggest losers of in recent years seems to have stopped its descent at 11 percent. But still many users put Nokia phones with the Symbian operating system out of hand. But apparently so many first-time buyers access just by a classic mobile phone on a Smartphoneumsteigen to a cheap Nokia device, in Germany, that the loss be compensated now. Kantar market researchers have a market share of 8.8 percent calculated last in this country for devices with the Microsoft operating system Windows phone, 2.6 points more than in the previous year. The majority of these devices comes from Nokia. The originating from Google Android running on approximately 77 percent of all devices sold between May and July in Germany but is clearly dominant operating system.

An analysis by Benedict Evans is interesting (Enders analysis) on the positions of the individual manufacturers in the mobile market, which includes all classic phones besides mobile phones in dubai. The size of the circles shows the revenues of the company. On the X-axis (horizontal) the average sales price is signed, on the Y-axis (vertical) the amount of the sold units. The graph shows very nice Apple's position as a premium manufacturer, Samsung as volume provider in the mid-priced and Nokia as a low-cost provider with only low turnover.
