Tristens Graduation
Well the end of the school year is next week but for all the kids that go to the YMCa Nursery School Friday June 22, 2007 is there last day. Tristen graduation is Tomorrow Wed June 20th, 2007 I have spend a few hours doing baking for the party. I made cookies & muffins. Churches
What exactly is "living in sin"? I was not allowed to be in a church choir because I was living with my girlfriend and we were not married. Aren't there worse problems than that? Doesn't God frown upon drinking, smoking, gambling, adultery, drugs,etc. I'm sure that a lot of the choir members were guilty of at least one of those sins. I guess I just don't understand religion and churches. I no longer go to church. I believe in God, but I can do it my way. Churches are way too hypocrytical for me. But maybe that is just me...

The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right? 1 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, diced 1 lg. can refried beans or pinto beans, soaked & cooked 1 pkg. corn tortillas (12) 1 pkg. taco seasoning 1 (12 oz.) pkg. cheddar cheese 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or paste 2 c. water 1 clove garlic, minced (powder, optional) 1/4 c. onion, diced (powder optional) dash of salt 2 to 4 tbsp. chili pepper (chili powder optional) cornstarch, enough to thicken slightly 1 c. long grain rice 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. cumin dash of salt 1/2 to 1 c. tomato sauce 2 c. water Sauté 1 pound of hamburger until brown, then drain well. add 1/2 to 1 package of taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water; simmer 15 minutes. While simmering, dice 1 medium onion, heat 1 large can refried beans. Cook 12 corn tortillas in oil, just until soft. dab excess oil with paper towel. Place 2 to 3 tablespoons hamburger on the edge of each tortilla. add 2 tablespoons or so beans on top of hamburger. Sprinkle with onions and Cheddar c

Portuchenua Beef-corn-mashed-potato
1.5lb ground beef 1 packet taco seasoning 2 cans corn 6 potatoes, cooked and mashed (or use instant) Cheddar Cheese or shredded Mexican Cheese Mix Brown the ground beef. Add the taco seasoning. Place beef in the bottom of 2 ovenproof 8-liter dishes (I use oval Corningware). Place a thin layer of cheese, then top with 2 cans of corn. Place mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle with cheese, as desired. Bake, covered, for about 30 minutes then uncover and bake 5 to 10 minutes longer. Let set for 5 minutes before serving. This was a dish my Grandma made and has been my favorite since I was a child. She got this from her mother who is French Canadian, so I don't believe I spelled it right! It's pronounced: Por-Tu-Shen-Wa. Very quick and easy to make and the family loves it!

Car Frustrations!
Hi all I hope your week has been a good one. Mine hasn't been that great, this past weekend the only really reliable car broke down, so hubby fixed it and started it up after charging the battery, went to start it yesterday and it was DEAD again!!!!! The Latest On My Mom
Just to let everyone know, My Mom is home from the hospital now, The doctors found 6 tumors in her brain last wednesday and put her in the hospital for what they referred to as imperative radiation, the tumors are not localized and are cancer, they are all over her brain and already having an effect on her motor skills, she is having trouble speaking and walking and her thought process is not the same. She told me that this is the first time since this all started over a year ago that she is actually scared now. I have been scared but would never let her know that, Thanks to everyone who read my original bulletin and thanks for all of the prayers, it is comforting to have friends right now, you dont know how much it means to me. But I will keep you updated on everything, she is a very stuborn lady and determined so we will see whats next. Again thank you all for everything. Love Jacque

My Only Son
For 3 years now, I have lived in misery. Misery from the lose of my 3 1/2 y/o son who died of cancer. Sometimes it is really hard to even get up in the mornings, knowing that he isn't here to say good morning or I love you. I have to keep telling myself, that one day, I will be with him, it's just taking time. I have tried to have another child, but I guess the "thing" just isn't there with me anymore. Now don't get me wrong, I love to have sex with my husband, but the urge to have another child is gone. Yes I would love to have another child, only if I knew deep down in my heart that he/she would live past 3 1/2 years of age. But I know that there would be no way for that. Cancer took one child of mine, I don't want to have another taken away like that. It would kill me. Hell losing the first almost did it, so I know that the 2nd one would deffy put me in my grave(or urn for that matter). 3 years ago today at 7:37 am in Las Vegas, my son took his last breath to cancer.

At what point? I have serious issues with rejection, and this doesn’t always work well with love/relationship life. Boeuf Au Mi-sel

there are days when i get talking to a few of my friends here on ct. i have always been a student of life. and one thing about life i have always found amazing is the ability to find light in dark places. there seems to be in us all a light and dark side. ct shows the dark in us sometimes. at first glance ct apeers to be of darker nature by showing the taboo part of us as humans. but during my time here i have found that with is everyone there are always the basic needs of life. to be loved,and to love. many have found them selves here out of the lack of love maybe. we all bring to this table human needs we cannot escape from. and we all meet in this field. even the darkest of dark people here on ct can be found to be nothing more than a man or woman who is searching for (i believe) for some sort of thing that can be tied to love,..attention,friendship,sex,communication. and we all have different levels of this in witch we search. after talking with my ct friends i find not the da
