Levels
I passed into Level 20 this morning, yea. So now it's a completely new ball game. Instead of the 10s of thousands of points needed to get to the next level, I need hundreds of thousands of points. In a couple of levels, I'll need millions. The surveys aren't going to help as much as they used to. Being banned from the MUMMs is still hurting. So what do you think would be more beneficial, points wise, hosting a contest or sponsering a happy hour? Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Missing Her Today
I know its been over 7 months since she died, but I miss her. I hope you all have checked out the pics I put in of my cousin Sami. She died last November after fighting as hard as she could against cervical cancer. She died the night of her benfit we were having, with only the hospice nurse there to see her go. I made a new web page for my mom and her sisters Relay for Life team. I had to dig through some pictures and I found some of the most beautiful ones of her. I feel like I could just cry. Its not fair that she was taken away. She was only 25. But the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that she is watching over my kids now. They will always have her as their guardian angel. The News Pisses Me Off
Ok so as everybody especially in the Ohio area, and of course nationwide is aware of the story of the young mother who came up missing and was found dead on Saturday with the father of the babies arrested and being charged with murder. NOW i have problems with this whole thing, 3 in particular. 1) Abortion is legal in almost every state of the union, and if a woman chooses to do so, she can go and terminate a pregnancy. Mock Chicken Legs
1 lb. veal, cut in cubes 1 lb. lean pork, cut in cubes Place on small wooden skewers (5 or so pieces each) alternate veal and pork cubes on skewers. Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper over meat. An Explanation
Not even sure how to start talking about this... Most of you who know me pretty well know my Dad is my hero. I don't think there is a better person alive today. He has been there for me throughout my struggles with depression. He is my best friend, my strength, the one I can go to with anything. Without him, I would not have made it through the last couple years. Many of you know I lost my Mom to cancer many years ago. I don't talk about it much, but Dad is also a cancer survivor. I guess I don't really talk about it much because the thought of losing him is something I just cannot face. Dad is turning 70 this Sunday. I can't believe it. He doesn't act it, or look it. This week he and my stepmom are taking a tripout to Washington. He may have retired, but he is still out helping to cover other ministers most weeks. He is helping 2 churches whose ministers are ill. OK, im gonna be a cry baby again.... This week I worked right at 70 hours. I came home last night and as usual nothing was done. I cooked for my husband, cleaned the house and helped my 13 year old son pack for church camp.. Finally around 1 am i got to go to bed... I woke up this morning at 6 am to take my son to camp. Came home and had to clean again, do laundry, cook breakfast after he woke up. I am so tired, Im at work again till 10 tonight and i know its all gonna be the same as soon as i get home... Not sure what to do anymore. Im the only one that works and I have 4 kids. I feel like giving up but I cant. One thing that makes me feel better is I know im gonna be the best female MMA fighter out there. Fruited Pot Roast
4 lb. chuck roast or pot roast 2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 c. apple juice 1 c. dried apricots 1 c. pitted prunes 1 c. tart apples, pared and sliced 2 cinnamon sticks or 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon Brown meat in butter. I think it might be cheaper to just rent a car and take the test that way. I really want to get my driver's license. Some people have been asking me when greywolf(dennis) and I will be getting married. Well we have set a date but its not completely concrete but its april 9th. That is the date if everything works out ok. We picked that day because its a month after dakota's birthday and a month before dennis's birthday and another reason is because dennis and I were both born on the 9th of the month so that is why we chose that date.

Veal Alla Parmigiano
Sauce: 2 tbsp. olive oil 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1/4 tsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. dry basil 2 oz. water Combine all the above ingredients together in pot. Bring sauce to boil, lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Veal: 1 1/2 lb. veal cutlets, sliced thin Bread crumbs, as needed Corn oil 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper 3 oz. Marsala wine 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced 1/8 inch thick 2 eggs, beaten Dip each veal cutlet in eggs and bread with bread crumbs. Set aside onto a sheet of wax paper. Sprinkle each cutlet with garlic, salt, sand pepper. Cover bottom of a 10 inch frying pan with corn oil. Brown each cutlets to open pan and sprinkle with Marsalas wine. Place Mozzarella cheese on each cutlet and cover with sauce. Bake at 400 degrees until the cheese starts to melt. Remove and serve. Makes 4-6 servings.

1/2 c. Insurance Ripoffs
I have the misfortune of dealing with a long term disability insurance company. By dealing, I mean jumping through hoops. Even though it is a company policy to replace my wages, they are trying to find a pre-existing condition to nullify my claim. I am at a point where I will have to borrow from some very good friends just to survive. I have no options when it comes to customer complaints. I haven't been approved yet. I still have to find info from 2005 including dr names, prescriptions and their numbers, treatments, names and numbers for all the places I was treated or seen, as well as their fax numbers. And of course it is taking time. 3 weeks so far. And the agent just keeps saying it is the policy that dictates the info needed. They even want copies of my MRI to make sure the dr isn't in on any scheme. Aren't people innocent until proven guilty anymore? Six Flags
Ok, this weekend was fun, but I'm wore out! Saturday, my boyfriend, brother and sister-in-law, traveled a little over 2 hours to go to Arlington, TX to Six Flags over Texas...spent all day there, stayed the night in a hotel, then, got up Sunday morning and went to Hurricane Harbor (used to be Wet-N-Wild water park). Got a little sun burned......but, it was fun....the calves of my legs are killing me though! Think I'm getting too old for this stuff!!! ;)

My Brother
Today is my brother's 23rd birthday, but he is not here to celebrate it. He will not be celebrateing any more birthdays or any other holidays for that matter. June 11th will mark the first anniversary of his death. My brother was serveing in the army, stationed in Germany for more training and just about to go on his secound tour of Iraq. He had the world at his feet and was moveing quickly through the ranks. But as many who have served could atest to, it truly messes with your mind. Ok, I have seen this bulletin floating around: "I've heard and read from a number of people about "someone" going through and flagging their pics as NSFW. Aribbean Pork Ribs
2 1/2 c. pineapple juice 1 lg. onion (sliced) 2 tbsp. orange-flavored liqueur 2 tbsp. dark rum 6 tbsp. honey 2 tbsp. Jamaican Hot Pepper Sauce (or to taste) 2 tsp. garlic (minced) 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. curry powder 4 lbs. baby back ribs (4 racks) For marinade, combine pineapple juice, onion, liqueur, rum, honey, pepper sauce, garlic, salt, nutmeg and curry powder in a medium sized bowl. Reserve 1/3 cup marinade and refrigerate. Place ribs in a rectangular baking dish and add remaining marinade. Cover and marinate ribs overnight in the refrigerator, turning the ribs several times to coat them evenly with marinade. Prepare a charcoal grill or barbecue. Cook ribs over the hot coals, turning occasionally and brushing with the reserved marinade until ribs are cooked through and crisp on the outside, about 15 minutes. Kaleb Is Making Progress! (from Kalebs Mom)
Sunday, June 24, 2007 Progress~! Kaleb is making progress! Friday night a Native American Christian Pastor came up to the room and played the wooden flute for Kaleb... It was absolutely beautiful. Kaleb loved it, he responed so much. He was moing his whole body and opening his eyes. It was wonderful to see such a positive response out of him. So he will be coming back once a week and I am looking forward to this. Early Saturday AM Kaleb had a couple spells of tachycardia (high heart rate) and problems maintaining his tempeture. They've taken the air blower off of him and have replaced it with a heating Pad that is underneath a buch of sheets on his bed. He had periods where he was awake on Saturday. I worked him out and he tried to fight me so that is a good thing. Him showing resistence shows that he is thinking. We talked to the doctors and hopefully he will be making some progress. The menengitis is pretty much gone. They are giving him one more tr

Baked Potatoes Supreme
2 large Idaho potatoes, baked 1 egg, hard cooked, peeled, and grated coarsely 4 cups broccoli, chopped (optional) 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese (reserve a few spoonfuls for topping) 4 strips bacon, sautéed and crumbled or chopped 4 teaspoons butter (2 for each potato) 1/4 cup sour cream 1/3 teaspoon each salt and pepper Wash and cut up broccoli (optional), set aside. Scrub potatoes, then rub with a small amount of vegetable, peanut or olive oil. Cook in microwave until fork tender, about 10 minutes, depending on size of potatoes and wattage of your oven. While potatoes are cooking, steam or simmer broccoli until just tender but still crisp. When broccoli becomes a bright green, drain, remove from heat and return to pan with cover briefly to finish cooking. If broccoli becomes an olive green, it's overcooked. French Oven Stew
2 1/2 lbs. lean beef, cubed 8 sm. whole baby onions 3 ribs celery, 2 inch pieces 3 med. carrots, 2 inch pieces 8 sm. red potatoes, unpeeled, sliced in thirds 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. basil 1/3 c. tapioca 2 (10 oz.) cans Snappy Tom Salt and pepper to taste Combine all ingredients except potatoes in 2 1/2 quart covered casserole. Bake at 325 degrees for 3 1/2 hours, adding potatoes the last hour. Stir occasionally. Serve 6. May also cook in crock pot all day on low. Serve with corn bread sticks.

My Weekend
I didn't get the new scooter at the Harley shop. They came up with about $2500 more, so I went to a Harley repo shop and got the same bike, for $4000 less. I will be picking it up tonight. I will not ever go back to Alef's Harley shop in Wichita, KS again. They do not like to tell you about cost not listed when you purchase, they also do not like to service your bike like it's supposed to be. Example, I spent $1000 for service and parts, when I got it home the clutch fell off at 60mph, not fun with a six yr old on the back. This was one of the items they serviced. I called and told them about it, not even a kiss my ass was given to me. I'm through with that. I will travel 1000 miles to the next dealership, just so I never have to go back there.

Ham & Lentil Soup
1 tbsp. olive oil 1 med. onion, chopped 1 tsp. garlic, minced 1/2 lb. ham, cubed 8 c. water 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 c. lentils 1 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1/2 c. pasta shells 1 carrot, grated In large soup pot brown onions in olive oil. Add water, garlic, tomato sauce; bring to a boil. Rinse lentils and add. Add ham, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer at medium heat 15 minutes. Then add carrot and pasta. Cook additional 30 minutes more. Serve hot and great the next day.

Missing Dinwiddie Mom June 21, 2007 11:23 PM Some 1,800 volunteers comb hundreds of yards and fields for missing pregnant mom Jessie Davis. The Ohio woman disappeared last week. While the nation is gripped with the whereabouts of Davis, a Dinwiddie family hopes it'll bring some attention to their missing daughter's case. Leigha Dix hasn't been seen in 7 weeks. The 22 year-old disappeared on May 3rd. The search for Leigha began when she did not pick her daughter up from daycare. The Dinwiddie County woman has a 3 1/2 year-old daughter with her former boyfriend Dequency Batts. Batts and Dix may have had some problems - according to Dix's mother. She says he knows something about what happened. Batts is behind bars charged with attempted murder of another woman. She was attacked in april. Spinach, Strawberry, Pecan Salad
1 lb. fresh spinach, washed & dried 1 pt. strawberries, washed & halved 1/2 c. pecan halves, toasted DRESSING: 1/3 c. raspberry vinegar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. vegetable or olive oil 1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds Combine dressing ingredients except the poppy seeds in a blender. Add the poppy seeds by hand. Toss dressing with spinach, strawberries and hot pecans. The hot nuts will slightly wilt the greens.

Cornflake Baked Chicken
24 chicken thighs or wing drumettes with skin 2 c. crumbed corn flakes 3/4 c. reg. or diet mayonnaise 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Non-stick spray shortening Dip chicken pieces in mixture of mayonnaise, milk, salt and pepper. Roll in cornflake crumbs. Spray cookie sheet with shortening. Bake 1 hour in 400 degree oven.

Need Sleep......
This is getting ridiculous. I am so tired, but can't get any sleep. I guess I just have too much going on right now. Maybe as soon as the move is done I'll take a week and just sleep. God knows I need it. Haven't gotten more than an hour or two a night for the past two months. I've tried everything I can think of except a hot bubble bath, but that's because I don't have a tub to take one in. Half tempted to go to a friends place to see if I can borrow theirs. LOL. Anyways, August 1st is almost here, so here's to another month of sleepless nights.

Baked Chicken With Cream Gravy
1 (3 lb.) fryer or you can use just breasts or legs and thighs 1 stick butter lg. can Carnation Evaporated milk Flour A little salt and pepper as desired. Shake chicken in paper bag with flour. Melt butter in baking dish in oven. Remove and lay chicken, skin side up, in dish with butter. Pour milk over all and a little water. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour, adding a little water as needed. Turn chicken over during baking. Serve with rice. This cream gravy is very good.

Spicy Stacked Baby Back Ribs
2 racks of baby back ribs 2 tablespoons hot sauce 1 clove of garlic crushed 1 green bell pepper 1 red bell pepper 1 yellow pepper 1 large red onion 2 tablespoons black pepper 2 tablespoons Lawry's Seasoning salt Wash ribs in cold water, pat dry, mix the crushed garlic and hot sauce, rub onto ribs, mix the seasoning salt and black pepper, rub that onto ribs, let sit while you seed peppers. Then slice peppers and onion into strips, place about 3 feet of heavy duty foil in a long baking dish. Place 1 rack of ribs back side down on foiled pan, cover with peppers and onion,stack remaining ribs on top and cover with rest of the onion and bell pepper mixure. Bring foil up on each side and make a sealed package (foil oven bags are great for this too) also. If you wish you can make these ahead of time and put in fridge over night. Bake at 350°F for 2 1/2 - 3 hours. So tender they fall off the bone.

Cold Pasta And Chicken Salad Or Shrimp Salad
8 oz. vermicelli pasta noodles 1 c. French dressing 10 fresh sliced mushrooms 1 c. fresh broccoli florets, blanched 10 slices cherry tomatoes Ripe olives (sliced) 1 can sliced artichoke hearts 2 c. cooked cubed chicken (or boiled shrimp) 1/3 c. fresh basil (or 1 1/2 teaspoon dried) 1/3 c. toasted pine nuts, optional Cook pasta, transfer to mixing bowl. Add 1/3 of the dressing and toss well. Cool and chill 3 hours. In another bowl, mix mushrooms, broccoli, tomatoes, olives, artichokes with remaining dressing. Chill. Add chicken, basil, nuts. Mix with pasta.

Summer Lime Chicken Breast Stir-fry Broccoli
Ingredients for the lime chicken breast: 4 boneless and skinless chicken breasts - each 1/2 pound 1/3 c olive oil Juice of three limes 4 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced 3 tsp fresh cilantro, chopped 1/2 tsp each of salt and freshly ground black pepper 6 yellow peppers 6 red peppers 6 orange peppers Ingredients for the stir-fry: 4 c fresh broccoli 1/4 c chopped walnuts 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil 1/2 tsp chili oil 1 tsp sodium soy sauce Garlic powder Mix all ingredients for the lime marinade together in a medium bowl. Add 1/3 cup olive oil, the juice of three limes, garlic, fresh cilantro, and salt and pepper. Lay boneless chicken breasts between 2 sheet wax paper. Work...
Most know I've been handed the responsibility of developing a training program for my work. We were so small there really wasn't one. At this point and with our current growth we HAVE to have it. So after the powers that be wanting everything in physical manuals now that want everything on powerpoint, web demos etc. It is far easier to traing a class of new highers that way. I only wish they would have agreed to it a month ago when I pushed for it. I guess a "VP" had to or a "power that be" had to come up with the idea. Well let's be honest, they sidetable the great idea and kept their bosses from hearing it. Waited and later claimed is there's so they're bonus is $80k vs $60k or some crap like that. (argh!) So I get sadled with extra work due to last minute changes. Result? I'll be on here every morning only. It will just be long enough to check private message over the next coupe of weeks. Landlord!
So.. I think my landlord is a awesome person. He's a private owner of a home in Central Ohio and leases out apartments for people like me! Well, for my rent, I'm supposed to mail it out to a P.O. Box which is then picked up by a local bank, then put in my landlords account. Well i personally found it easier to just drop off the check (in an envelope) to the bank in person. (I don't trust the timing of snail mail.) My last rent due date was on a weekend, and the bank was closed. So I dropped it in the overnight slot with confidence, thinking it would get to my landlord on time. Well, I get a phone call from him this weekend, and he tells me he still hasn't recieved the check for June. I'm like OH SHIT! Luckily he knew that I was dropping it in the over night slot, so we both concluded that the people in the bank had no idea what to do with this random rent check. I told him I would call the bacnk today (monday) and figure out what happend. Thank God he was super cool about it.

Quit Date
Well today is the day. I called 1-800-QUIT-NOW a week ago Thursday. I had seen their commercial that said they offered all kinds of free help and stuff to assist people in quitting smoking. Anyway after about a few minutes with an operator, and another half an hour with a "quit-coach", I was all signed up. They ask you a bunch of questions; whether you use cigarettes or chew, how often you use, how long you've been using, and when you want your "quit-date" to be. I thought that was funny, like they were gonna send someone over to keep me occupied so I wouldn't smoke, and I kept thinking "What about after my quit-date and I do it?" and "I'm really going to want a smoke then." One of the things that's really cool is that they offer free patches, gum, or lozenges to help with the cravings. Hubby Shit Again
Ok, first let me fill you in on a little tidbit about me. I have fibromylgia syndrome. Noone really knows what causes it so there is really no treatment for it. Mine attacks my legs and the one thing I am thankful for is that it attacks me in spells. Although i do have problems everyday. I have spells about once a year that can be crippling. Sometimes i am confined to a wheelchair and in the worst pain i have ever felt. All they give me for it is narcotics. 1. My kids. They keep me rolling everyday. My daughter is too smart for her own good. She knows words that I have to look up in the dictionary. Saturday With The Kids
Well my daughter went with me saturday. Only because her mother made her. Which really suprised me. I don't think my son liked it to much though. He's used to being the center of attention and just doing guy things. We still had fun though. We went to see Wild Hogs. It was a good movie. I want it on DVD. After I dropped my kids of the ex called and told me my daughter said she didnt want to go with me any more. I thought she had a good time but I guess when she asked to text a friend with my phone and I told her no, that really hurt her feelings. She's used to getting everything she wants from her mother while my son on the other hand doesnt get half of what his sister gets. I treat them both equal and I guess thats why my daughter hates me. Cancer Of The Heart?
I found out yesterday that my dad has lung and bone cancer. The hospital only found out because he was drunk and fell (got thrown out more likely) of a pub and went to hospital cause he hurt his shoulder and x-rays showed this other stuff. Should I feel bad, or sad, or anything at all? Cause I don't. I think I don't cause firstly, i never really liked him or got on with him when he was still around, secondly, the fucker didn't even want us to know, and thirdly he brought it on himself by smoking and drinking booze like water. So, anyways, now thats off my mind, on a lighter note, had my last ytwo exams today, so i'm done, dusted and freeeeeee. Now to wait for results (crap) and to look for a job in the meantime.

i just turned 44 on the 24 of june,i have 3 childern of 24, 20, and 16.Those days seemed like they were so easy. But now i have custody of 1 child at 13months and partial custody of another one at 18 months. Ok I'm way behind because I've been out of town on a family emergency, but I'm finally home until friday when we have to go back to lexington til sunday or monday. So since I've been home I've just been doing my normal daily routine, just listening to music and catching up with friends since I've been away. He Is On His Way
Well, the time has come and gone and I'm ok. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Grant left at 9:15 this morning to get on a bus to go to MEPS in St. Louis. Then tomorrow he will fly to Ft. Sills, OK. He spent time this morning talking to his sisters, each by themselves. And wouldn't tell me what he said to them. Knowing my son, he gave them strict instructions on how to behave and the consequences upon his return for any bad behavior. (lmao) He didn't have much to say to me, which is ok, as my son and I have a bond that doesn't need words. I chose to write him a letter and stick it in his bag when he wasn't looking! Saying all the things I knew I wouldn't be able to say when he left without tears. And since he can't stand to see his momma cry, i Know he understands. I am so proud of him, and can't wait to see how this experience changes him. Thanks to my sis and all my friends on here for your continued support. Just curious, it doesn't bother me really, I am just trying to understand. Many times I have had the honor and priveledge to talk to some great, fun and interesting people. The conversation goes swimmingly and we say our good-byes. The next thing I know, I never hear from them again. Am I reading more into things than I should? Weekend And The Sca
I had a great weekend - heck I called in today because I was so tired from this weekend. I went to an SCA event called Wastelands and it was fun. I met some new friends, got inducted into a household, Ummm did a bit of payback on another household and got sunburned. What a great way to spend my "I just got done with school" weekend. Back to real life though and I know my work is piling up on me - Argh why can't a girl take a break, have some fun, and not have to stress about the crap she is going to get when walking back into the office the next day?? Is that to hard to ask for? Oh the other hand my ex has not surfaced for over two months now, I don't know whether to be happy or wonder if he is planning something - say like quitting work so I don't get any child support. First Day Off In 2 Weeks

My Kids
My kids are finally home. I have missed them oh so much and no one knows how much I have missed them. My son hads lost a lot of weight and I dont understand it at all. My youngest daughter has lost some as well. They are about a year apart. He was born on the fourth of july and she on the 12 of july. Ok so less than a year. My oldest is better but yet she still hurts her younger brother and sister. I hate that but they are kids and they are siblings so I thinkI should be used to it by know. Lol. My oldest goes back to her dads on Friday and the other two next weekend. I know I am going to miss them like crazy. my oldest will be gone for a month and a half but the other two just for two weeks and then after they come home for two weeks they are gone again for another two weeks. That will be the end of that with their dads. I will miss them again while they are gone. But I know they need time with their fathers even though one of themacts like a sperm donor than their dad.
