As a musician, I have always admired piano as the ultimate musical instrument. The excellent sound quality and the euphoria of romancing with the piano keys, has always inspired me to create great music. That is perhaps why I fell in love with the AP-650 MBK digital piano from Casio almost the moment I set my eyes on it. As I tried some of my compositions on the instrument, I felt the same thrill and passion like I feel while playing on an acoustic piano.

The tri-sensor scaled hammer action keyboard of AP-650 MBK, responded to the touch of my fingers in almost a magical manner. Also the tiny crimp on the surface of the keys ensures that I do not tire easily, even if when I intend to play for longer periods of time. The instrument has been provided with a new keyboard system, for efficient reproduction of the finesse resulting from the speed with which I release the individual keys. For a natural and beautiful resonance effect, the piano is fitted with a damper resonance which proves more effective than a pedal.

Not only do the keys of AP- 650 MBK give me the feel of playing a grand piano, but the sound quality of the instrument is also quite similar to an acoustic piano. This is made possible by stereo resonance simulator incorporated within each of its 88 keys. The digital piano also features the multi-dimensional morphing AiR technology from Casio for producing resonating tones. In addition, the improved waveform data sampling feature built into the memory of the instrument helps me to produce remarkably realistic sounds.

What I liked most about AP-650 MBK is that it comes packed with features that help me to transform my musical thoughts into actual sounds. The most important of these are the Key off and Lid simulator features, which help in creating a sound effect that is convincingly similar to that of an acoustic piano. In addition, the piano has the standard features of Hammer Response, 4 Level string resonance, 250 Tones, 60 Music Library Tunes, 180 rhythms, Polyphony and Digital effect reverb. Overall, I found this digital piano to be perfect instrument for playing mesmerizing and enchanting music.
