The first thing about AP-450 BK/BN that catches my eye, are the ebony and ivory keys, which provide the look of luxury and texture similar to a grand piano. The intricately designed crimp surface finish makes sure that my fingers do not slip while playing the instrument. The Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II uses a three-sensor system for detecting the touch of the keys in a sequential order. In addition, the piano features the Lid simulator system, which helps me to change the volume and quality of my music by simply raising or lowering the lid.
The thing I like most about the AP-450 BK/BN is that it comes fitted with a damper resonance which provides for a more natural and magnificent resonance effect. The string resonance system which is integral to all the 88 keys of the piano helps me to produce diverse resonance sounds based on the strength with which I touch the keys. What’s more I can even control these sounds to get the desired effects for my performances. The new keyboard also comes fitted with a Key off simulator which reproduces the nuances of various key releases in such an effective manner that it the resulting reverberations are almost as authentic as those produced by a grand piano.
I also like the fact that the AP-450 BK/BN, provides all the usual features of Casio digital pianos, also they are greatly enhanced. These features combined with the rich tone quality and elegantly superior key touch makes the instrument perfect for enjoying a true piano experience.
