                                                   What Will You Be Doing?

     No matter what some may say,

     there are still Heroes here today,

     Weathered through time,

     many aren't doing well,

     still if you listen,  they have a story to tell.

    Whether they're a parent, Grand-parent

   or Great, sit down and listen to them,

   before it's too late.

    Stories of peace,

    Stories of war,

    Stories of glory,

    Stories of Horror.

   Through them

  we have much to learn,

  take time to listen to them,

  that's the least they've earned.

  What will you be doing?

 will you be drinking a beer

 while at the park

 your children play?

 I for one will be visiting convelecent homes

 and cemeteries, thanking those who lived

 and died, and I'll do it every year,

 on this our Veterans Day.
