Which brings me back to the original intent of this little sojourn onto the laptop.

I wanted to conceptualize the gouf black tri-stars more.

The paint scheme is all but decided, but... do I dare do any surface mods? I feel almost pressured to do so, since... the tri-stars were a high mobility troupe and ... the gouf is not so speedy.

The problem is, I don't have the model in hand at the moment, but I do have a working understanding of it, having built it twice, drawn it a hundred times, and modding/painting one once.

I'm leaning towards extending some of the calf vents (plastic plate boxes with plastic plate on the inside) on the outter sides of each calf, and the back- see my pics, those crazy ass spurs on the back of the calves?

I'm half tempted to shave off the front/back spikes of the shoulders and leave the curved spikes in. I'm more tempted to use a leftover ball-shoulder from the Zaku I for one shoulder.

I WANT to do body extensions but... *whistles* fucking complicated. Could interfere with posture, mobility and- its not a technique I know or what media to use, and... its a high mobility mod... not a bulk mod.

I also discovered that if you put the back fin of a zaku 1 on a gouf head

you get a gelgoog.

shield is out- cannibalized for my Kampfer Command type.

And its not HM.

I'd like to put some bells and whistles on the backpack if at all possible... it might not be possible, and that brings us to weapons.

... fucking weapons.

I can make a tube based grenade launcher easilly in the forearm with the existing heat-rod apperture.

Just need a "clip" and some cutting/sanding.

Order of painting and glueing will be ... complicated.

I have a couple spare guns from the Zaku I's. I think Unknown soldier is going to keep a machine gun, his axe, and the magella gun on reserve. So... I have at any given time, a free bazooka and a free machine gun for this purpose.

BTS' used bazookas primarily in their portrayals, if I have at least one wrist weapon, a melee weapon (keeping the gouf blade) a primary hand weapon... I still have room to remove the Gouf machine gun hand, and actually install another manipulator hand, possibly a wrist weapon, and another hand weapon.

So... melee weapon in one hand, grenade launcher, primary weapon from zaku I, second wrist weapon?

Bear in mind, I don't have the tube built in for this one, all parts would have to be custom manufactured and attached.

So... for the second it may be best to have exterior components only. Something removeable, and not all together disimilar from the Gouf custom's machine gun.

I'm also not wholey opposed to adding one of those widgets on the dom chest to burn out cameras, or... maybe some extra antennae and widgets... if I can find places to put them. Bearing in mind that the rear fin looked like a gelgoog...

About the only space for them would be on the torso, maybe the head, and maybe the backpack.

I know... there's a lot of nebulous... shit... floating about. It needs thought, the model in hand, and some drafting.

But I think I've at least committed to the high mobility idea... I think.
