So tonight I went to see a show: The Spill Canvas. The person that should have been there wasn't, but that's another story. Small club, a bunch of unknowns. Yes one of the earlier acts gave a shout out to Applebees because he works there. Anyway, so I am there, waiting for the headliner...
...And this dude keeps backing up into me. So I say to him "Dude, if you are going to keep backing up into me, at least buy me a drink." Yeah, a bit smart assey, but really nothing bad. So his little guido friend has issues with that, and tries to step to me. He starts talking some shit, at this point, I don't really remember too much of what he said, but I know there was something about him saying "Do you have a problem with my friend, and me saying "do you have a problem with me?" and him saying nothing then me telling him "I thought not..." Then the smell of shit, I swear to god I think he shit his pants, if not, he totally sharted...
Which resulted in him coming' up to me like 10 mins later. Now when I said his little guido friend, let me set the scene. This guy was up on the risers, and still didnt look me in the eye (Yeah he came back so he could be taller) and yes, here it is 10:00 at night and he had his sunglasses on his head. He told me "You disrespected my friend" I was like, well where is your friend, I'll talk to him, not you. He said "He's busy" I think I laughed. I said, well, then why don't you go away till your friend is unbusy. After he left the J's which were right behind me said something like "Dude, that guy was a douche, we woulda had your back" I said thanks, but I think I could handle it, and Jeff (I called them the J's because it was Jim, Jeff, and Jack) said "What was he thinking, you are a big guy, you coulda killed him" I laughed and said yeah, I coulda and his friend too, hell my daughter coulda taken him. Anyway, I bought the J's beers and back on to the show.
It was pretty awesome. I have to say the crowd was probably 14 yr old girls, and I may have been the only guy who knew the words and was singing along, but I enjoy the band, so fuck you. It was also weird when it came to audience participation the crowd voice was "young girl" sitll an awesome time was had by yours truly. I posed a few pics up, so enjoy.
PS - They came out for an encore and played "All Hail The Heartbreaker" this makes me happy...
