I used to be an amateur drink master, coming up with "official" drinks for varying events. I'm going to be posting some of the best here over time, so people can try them out.
Today's Drink was called "Purple Jesus". It received it's name from the color, and the result. :)
First, in a LARGE container *By large, I mean like those 5 gallon drink dispensers - Do NOT use Metal!) add equal parts of:
White rum
Vodka
Gin
White Tequila
Everclear
Purple Grape Juice. (Not punch, actual juice)
To this mixture, add @ 40 oz of Maraschino Cherries, juice and all.
Taste the mixture, and then add and mix in Sugar until mixture is sweet.
*The next step is critical!*
Allow mixture to sit 3 days covered in a dark, cool place. This will allow the Sugars to produce more alcohol, increasing the Proof. it also allows the Cherries at the bottom to soak up as much alcohol as possible.
After the 3 days, serve chilled. After the liquid is gone, save cherries for use in cooking - Or enjoy them right then, sharing with friends.
*Me - I always shared - Because the cherries by this time WILL get someone drunk*
