This One Night

It always seems like

But I really feel like
That I've waited my whole life
For this one night

I feel like i'm in another world
When our souls are intertwined
On these two feet I stand.
Is this what love is?
You make me feel so high off the ground
With such a long way down
And it only took this one night
To redeem my whole life
Of searching, waiting
I love what i've found.
Then I wake up
This dream has been made up
Never seeing your face in the light
But still I savor this one night
