I fucking hate it when people say that. Except when I say it, and you better know it's in a mocking tone of every person that has said it every time in the history of the world. Ever.
I'm sick of being sick. I'm also sick of corporate political bullshit at my job, but at least my job gives me awesome benefits which soften any potential blows made against my financial standings when sickness sinks in its teeth.

Anyway, I'm "working" from home today. This aforementioned "work" basically consists of me fielding texts and emails while my boss is out of town, as well as coordinating a massive attempt to regain control of my Outlook inbox. Holy copiousness of correspondence, Batman. The last time I organized need-to-keep info and purged expendable emails was in May, and yet I still have 1839.. wait.. 1840.. messages to comb through.
What do I do and why do I have so many messages? I don't even know. I work for a drug screening lab. Pain management. Substance abuse. I am the glorified pee police. [That's senior pee police, to you.] I'm like the assistant manager of Arizona pee policing. Okay, so it's really not that glorious, but on days like today when I'm home with the ickies, it has its perks.
The emails are a neverending story, only they don't have a luck dragon or a childlike empress. I suppose I should get back to "work". Take care now. Buh-bye.
