Thinking of You
Sitting here all alone listening to the
music as thoughts of you flow through my mind
A tear wells in my eyes sadness overcomes my
heart I drop to my knees as if the world had
just been placed upon my shoulders slowly I
stand up resisting the pain fighting back
the tears happy thoughts begin to fill my
soul I remember when we used to just talk
For hours about everything and nothing all
at once we would laugh and not care about
the world even for only a fleeting moment
I know now that no matter what you will
always be there in one form or another
When I am feeling sad like the world is
crashing down my light at the end of the
tunnel all I need do is to think of you
And all of my troubles seem to fade away
Into the distance when I come back to reality
Everything appears so much simpler my lips
part in a smile as I think of you.
