Throughout her life, my grandmother kept me at a distance, so it will not surprise you to learn that we were never close.

To my shock, she left me about 10k in her will. I really have mixed feelings about accepting anything from her modest estate. I have also learned that refusing to accept the money creates many problems for lawyers, the court, and other beneficiaries in my family -- a lot more paperwork.

What should I do?
