How sad is my life....
We needed some stuff from the store esp with the ball coming up on saturday so I decided to go to walmart. But not wanting to drag the whole fam damily along opted to go at 8:30 last night. the 8yr old had a fit cuz i wouldn't take her but the 3 yr old was peacefully snoozing in his bed. Let the hubby know I was leaving and out the door i went. As I was leaving the base I was amazed by the sense of freedom i felt. I could have my radio on any station in the truck, window down, singing to something other than kiddie songs. I was able to take my time in the store, not rush thru cuz the kids were cranky. I was gone for an hour and a half and it felt great!
How sad my life has become that a solo trip to wallyworld is the highlight of my day. Maybe this is a sign that i have been to intent on my family's needs and not my own. Oh well.
