STOP THE INSANITY!!!

Okay so I'm not gonna stand for being called an Anti-American or a 9/11 Hater or bashed because I don't want to sit around all day and mourn the loss of people that I really did not know or had any connection to other than they were a part of this country and innocent human beings. I have seen others who are also not into posting the "Remember 9/11" all over their statuses...does that make us all co-conspirators in being Anti-American or 9/11 Haters??

I completely understand that people's lives were lost. I completely understand that it was a sad day in our history. I completely understand that some of you may have relatives or friends that died that day. I completely understand that the military has gone around the world to fight this sort of terrorist act against our country. And I completely understand that we as Americans should unite and fight this sort of terrorist act on the homefront while our military men and women do so for their families and ours outside of this country. BUT I also understand that I was given a birth right and privilege, as are all American citizens, to be able to choose how I spend my days on this Earth and within this great country.

So for me to see people posting other's profile links to draw other people's attention to it because that person doesn't want to be in the mix of empathy for this somber day of loss is just ludicrous! We all have the freedom to mourn, empathize, remember, etc in our own way and in our own time. One should not be looked down upon, ridiculed, bashed, or belittled because they have already gone through the process and are ready to move on and live their lives. Not everyone is going to see things the way another person sees it. That's called D-I-V-E-R-S-I-T-Y & I-N-D-I-V-I-D-U-A-L-I-S-M!! Great concepts these two things are but some people just can't stand them because they represent what they perceive to be ignorance and indifference. It is soooo not the case! Those two things are what make our country what it is today. If not for diversity and individualism where would we be? We would be in a town called Communism and down the road would be Dictatorville...Where all of our thoughts, beliefs, ideas, etc would be that of one person or a select few that have taken it upon themselves to mold us into what THEY want us to be...not who WE want to be.

So don't sit in judgement of others because one day it may be you who is judged and you won't be so quick to accept it or like it for that matter. Besides, no one is perfect or infallible. We are ALL free to make our own decisions without regret, remorse or ridicule. As my mother taught me...so should you teach yourself and your children...TO EACH THEIR OWN!!

So, instead of bashing others for what they are not doing or complaining because you don't like what they have to say, go use that energy and time to find each and every single one of our military men and women on FUBAR and thank them for giving up their families, friends, and lives to travel halfway across this planet to make sure that your ass is able to sit here online bitching and moaning about others and their statuses...and also for the freedoms that so many of you take for granted. :)

THANK YOU TO ALL OF MY MILITARY BROTHERS & SISTERS FOR GIVING UP YOUR TIME AND LIVES TO MAKE MINE AND MY FAMILY'S BETTER! YOU ARE ALL THE BRAVEST OF THE BRAVE AND I COMMEND YOU ALL EVERY DAY FOR THE COURAGE AND HONOR YOU HAVE SHOWN IN THE FACE OF SUCH CHAOS!!!
