so this fat rudie and my reggae playin friends/band mates keep it goin.
a new band..with old roots being acknowledged in every song.
theres no fakin...theres no wanna be.
its strictly roots music being played in the dirt valley of CA.
midnight sessions being played til 3 am.
recording and gettin things smoothed out to start playing places soon.
its a better release than fighting or stressing out.
all things can be expressed in a song or 10.
and thats whats been goin on.
the reactions already from people who have listened or seen DIY videos of sessions...shows we know what we're doing.
not tryin to come up or impose our thoughts on others through music.
strictly jammin.
just so happens its creative life blood that we shed and not tears or BS agendas.
singing again is a great thing...especially with band members who actually can play and know what theyre playing.
no need to take things so seriously but its not just some thing to pass the time.
its a fever inside that cant be cooled off.
funny too that i dont have to sing about being "proud" or bullshytting about nonsense.
not fakin the funk just doing what comes natural.
and yes haha..im a fat white guy singing reggae.
no bob marley covers or sublime re-cover covers haha.
but i figure if Judge Dread was a big white guy who covered and took his name from Prince Buster with his own twist.
ive got no problem playing island music in America.
its music culture that goes back at least 50+ years.
and Minus Fyder All Stars has no worries with adding ourselves to that culture.
no boneheads, no hippies, no nonsense...just strictly rockers.
