Ok, so research for my paper...blah blah, lead me to this. Which then led me to change the topic of my paper to better fit my research!

Top ten reasons men lie! Oh so true! hehe
1) To get sex.
Ain't this the damn truth. If women were more up front about who they are sexually there wouldn't need to be lying to get sex. If women said, "3rd date, lets do it." Men wouldn't have to lie about how hot she looks, how sweet she is, blah blah, to get the booty. Men will always be constrained to submerge his true personality and adjust his opinions in the hopes of getting a lil sex.
2) They love to. (They don't believe anything is wrong with it)
Well, if women stopped letting them lie this wouldn't be an issue. And usually it is a previous relationship/woman that teaches the man it is okay to lie so he carries it on to the next relationship, not realizing the initial relationship ended because he lied.
3) They lie to get out of unpleasant tasks.
Well duh! Ever see a mans face when you ask him to help with the dinner dishes? And almost always he will do the task BADLY so that he is never asked to do it again. Ever see a man when you ask him to clean the garage out? While he may not want to do it, he won't lie to get out of it, mainly because he knows that he will get at least 8 hours on a Saturday without you breathing down his neck.
4) Despite their love of fighting and war, they will lie to avoid conflict.
This is why women get away with lying. We, make an angry face, we present our lie like it will end in an arguement and the man wil lie to turn it around so that he avoids the WAR all together. And well we all know that an arguement will likely lead to no sex, thus the number one reason to lie.
5) A man who is insecure is more liable to lie or do worse.
Well, of course he is gonna lie. Like, how many partners he's been with. You will give an honest answer and say, 11 men, he will lie and say 154, so you think he is the MAN in bed. When actually he has been married 3 times and he just doesn't actually know how to commit, SO he will lie about 154 partners to turn you off. Jesse says, "Divde by 3 and that is the answer." So, 3/154 is what? 51 1/3 roughly. 51 and 1/3 in say 24 yrs of sexin, works out to be what? 2 and some change a yr? Not counting the yrs you were married. So, it could average to 3 a yr. Which, is descent. Where as 154 is obnoxious.
6) They lie online because they think no one can hold them accountable.
PROOF is in the typing! lol If you speak to a man online, he's lying. He has a wife or girlfriend, his dick is NOT anything worth talking about, and his brown eyes are probably really blue. lmao (this is not to say women don't lie online too)
7) They'll lie if they feel trapped or that someone is trying to trap them.
Duh, why do you think Divorce is so high?
8) They'll lie if you bust them, and they see war coming.
Lie to protect oneself. It's a natural thing to do. If he didn't at least try to protect his nuts, well, he'd lose them.
9) They'll lie because their wife or girlfriend is stupid or he thinks she is stupid.
Well, of course men think women are stupid. It's a roll women play, in order to make a man feel like a man. If we didn't play stupid when it comes down to how to use the remote, who would come in and save us if the house was on fire? Now, where it bites us in the ass is that we play stupid so well that he ASSUMES it's not an act.
10) They'll lie maliciously, for money or their own personal gain.
Well, hello, that is why the majority of business owners, politicians, lawyers are men. A lie is based on personal gain. Sex, money, power, love, lust, all of it. You lie, you get what you want.
In my research, I have come to learn a few more things about men and lying. They all lie on some level.
Men lie because they are shady, because they want sex, because they are human.
Men lie without intent to hurt a woman. Men lie because women are forgiving. Men lie because we let them, because we teach them, and the worst part, we teach them to be HORRIBLE liars. From birth, we teach our sons to lie horribly so that we can always catch them in the act of lying.
It will never change. Those who say they are interested in a relationship of honesty and truth, blunt, brutal honesty, LIARS! Men do NOT want that, and women, how could they want that?
Telling a few lies is the best way to keep your relationship happy.
The best way to keep a woman happy and you keep getting laid you're going to have to learn to tell her what she wants to hear. Boys, this is something that takes a lifetime to perfect. There is no fast tracking it, it is what it is.
And last,but not least, the best advice that can be given?
The quickest way to ruin a relationship is to actually get into a relationship.
