I've been toying with the idea of maybe moving to a warmer climate, but I actually like the winters in Ohio...and I could probably handle a colder climate. There is something about the changing of the seasons...and the smell of the woodburner when it starts to warm the workshop. I'd even consider taking a winter off from Ohio and trying out a new location. I've always wondered about states out west...Nebraska, North Dakota, even Montana. There is something idealistic about the chores on a farm/ranch and the changing of the weather. I've seen the Northern Lights, but I've been told they are incredible the closer you get to the North Pole. I had a friend for a while that had a ranch in Colorado, that once offered to let me stay on at his ranch if I'd do some work on the place...that might not be a bad idea...I don't have a lot of money for relocating....but that would be a change of pace and give me a chance to try out a new area of the country. Anyone out there have a ranch/farm that needs a little TLC from a person with a little handyman experience and tons of experience running mowers? Of course, it helps if you are blonde and single.......just sayin'
