if you don't go with the Select plan option and want text here are the text package rates:
$10/month=unlimited in messaging + 500 aditional to use for anyone outside of the verizon network
$15/month=unlimited + 1500 Add'l for outsiders
$20/month=unlimited + 5000 add'l for outsiders
outsiders= anyone not on Verizon network
any text over the package is $0.15 a message send/receive
