Incase you don't know this movie is just another adaptation of a japanese film of the same name. The origional had been around for at least a couple of years, long enough that there is a sequel to it already.
This new version was good, but as pretty much all adaptations it relies to much on special effects. Don't get me wrong, the story is strong and didn't change much in the switch over, but if you've seen the origional you'd know that it goes on more of suspense and thrill to keep you jumping.
Also, this movie reminded me a lot of the ring. The first one not the crapy sequel.
Overall it movie was ok, I would give it 6 out of 10.
One good thing is it used a specific ring tone as a que in the movie. I now have it as my ringtone on my phone. lol
