Despite the recent claim by US Drug Czar Gil Kerlikowske, that smoked marijuana has no medical benefits, new research by scientists at several universities, revealed the exact opposite. The population-based case-controlled study of marijuana users, published in the July issue of Cancer Prevention Research Journal, found that "10 to 20 years of marijuana use was associated with a significantly reduced risk of HNSCC" [head and neck squamous cell carcinoma]. That's reduced risk, Mr Kerlikowske.
