When I uploaded my
salute photo I jumped about nine levels because - I was already twelfth level when they instituted the salute policy (so I stayed there... otherwise I'd have been stuck at 10th), and during the time it took me to take a salute photo and upload it, I accumulated points that stayed there- and finally counted towards 21st level when I did.
(It took me so long because of logistics.)
Posting this because apparently rating and commenting on profiles and photos of people who've hit that limit (10th level, without salute, showing that 99.99% in the "points to level" bar) doesn't help with points anymore, based on a bit of experimentation? (This may be announced official policy- haven't yet checked.)
