Woe to my heart,
for my dreams that have fallen apart.
Dreams of love and family die away,
and everything seems impossible with everyday.
I try and try to get out of this rut,
but it always seems something always knocks me back down on my butt!
Some are chosen for the easy life,
It seems I was chosen for a world of strife.
Was it something I have done wrong,
that Karma keeps me singing this sad song?
What penance must I perform,
to calm this tragic storm?
Someday, somehow, something has got to give,
because damn it I want my turn in life to live!!!
