Never look down on anyone unless your helping
Keep in mind that the true meaning of an individual is how he treats a person who can do him absolutely no good.
Most of us all put people in some sort of class in our heads. That person is good, that person is trailer trash, that person is screwed up in the head, that person is an alcoholic or a drug addict. Think for a second; have ever been there before? Allot of you have. But you're over that now or you're still there. Everyone was created equal. Everyone goes through stages in there lives that hopefully they learn from. Everyone has low points and high points through there lives. I repeat this phrase so much but I'll say it again anyway.
We all ride that roller coaster of life. We all have ups and downs. Just know when your down you will start back up again. It never stops. It starts when your born and stops when you die. No one can get off the ride. So learn to enjoy it. It's free! Everyone is there with you on that same ride. The rich, the poor, the beautiful, the not so beautiful, the overweight, the skinny. You are not alone.
Never look down on anybody unless you're helping them up!
Be nice to people on your way up because most likely you'll meet them on your way down.
Be there for your friends in times of need. It's not easy to be around someone who is going through rough times or having severe emotional problems because it brings you down watching and hearing them so depressed. We all know this. But true friends and truly warmhearted people will try to help. It does take allot out of you but remember when your down you will need the emotional support as well to get you going in that right direction again. Give; never expecting anything in return but know there is a good chance that person can and will be there for you when you might be in there spot!
Learn to understand and don't be selfish in your wisdom and words of encouragement. Just a hug or a few conversations can make all the difference in the world! Copyright: Rich R 9/28/08
