Snow caps on the mountains
Cool breeze in the air
The scent of all the evergreen
So beautiful and fair
The wilderness so free
And the wildlife as they roam
This life I live so happily
I love to call my home
The sight of mother nature
All her beauty is so grand
As the sounds you hear so vividly
Whispers through this land
Breathtaking to see the sunrise
To see its morning glory rays
To view it by the ocean
I love to see those days
Silent is the twilight
As the stars shine in the sky
It's like magic in the distance
When a shooting star soars by
The crashing of the waves
On the shores create a mist
And if your standing closely
You feel it like the moisture from a kiss

I wrote this poem for my fiancee for showing me what love was really all about <3
I never really knew what living was ever all about
I never knew the feeling of love, without feeling any doubt
I see so clear inside my heart what my life now has to give
I finally know now what love is like and what it's like to live
I have all this in my life now and it's all because of you
I see it all so clear as day in those loving eyes of blue
You gave me the confidence to live my life and made it all worth while
you are the reason for my laughter and for each and every smile
Blessed inside is what I feel to have found my love so true
and know my love will never stray for I will forever have this love for you.
I wrote this poem as a tribute to my best friends Dad who passed away this year. He is truly missed by so many <3
No matter how far the distance
No matter how far I roam
Just know within this heart of mine
This will always be my home
Never forget who you are
Never forget from where you came
Just remember when you return home
In memories it will be the same
Things may have changed while I was gone
But no matter how long I've been away
When I return to home sweet home
In my heart will seem like yesterday
When I return to where my heart is
And know I am here to stay
I will finally have the peace I've longed
Because I am returning home today.
