THIS SCARLET ROAD I WALK
My feet drag heavy as I walk
My sword in hand used as a crutch
As its tip drags the ground beside me
The shield beaten and nearly broken
My armor has seen to many battles
I just wanted to live my life
I didn’t need anyone standing in my way
You can take a walk with me
Down this dreary path
