Love . . .
What is it
What is this mystical emotion
That seems to escape me at every turn
My feelings are gone
Because I have never known love
Only the pain of watching it die
Why could not I not give her the world
Instead of giving her all my love
I sat back and watched as she cried
I felt her emotions
As she walked by
So now I’m left
To wonder why
Why am I drowning in a sea of sorrow
Why won’t I see another tomorrow
After hurting her so I say good-bye
For now, I am losing my heart
My world is falling apart
