We go through life thinking its going to be easy
For most it's been challenging
Some is lucky to have it handed to them
As you listen to a song you have think
"This song relates to what I am going through now"
Most of us felt that way when you hear something
Hearing something we have not heard in a while
Listening to the radio saying "that is my song there"
Most of us done that before
Like listening to a classic "Tony Terry" jam
"With you "
Make you feel good all over again
Make you feel the way you felt when I you first heard the song
You was excited with anticipation
The way it made your heart felt
The way lyrics made you fall in love
May be wanted you to be in love
Just like a "troop" jam making you love the person more
May be want them more
I wonder if you can feel that way now
Now music just don't have a message
All about bumping and grinding
Ballin and bling bling
It's very redundant if you ask me
Some may get upset who care
I rather hear Keith sweat beg than hear some that don't make sense
Something that has a message or lesson you can't ever teach
Beside sex and money where is your clout
We want to feel good again
Beside the garbage you put out
I rather listen to my oldies in my times
Rather than indulge in to music that degrade my womanhood
Instead having music I can shake my butt to
Why not send me something that can I think
Something to make feel good to be in love
Its not just music to me
It's an art you seem to not know
Until then I won't be contributing to you degrading my womanhood
Real music is an art that touches the soul
