I remember the movie "Cocoon" with Steve Guttenberg as the unwitting accomplice on the alien's mission to retrieve their people from the bottom of the ocean. Steve gets his first experience with Tantric sex in a swimming pool and when he first feels "Silent Thunder his response was, " OMG !..... If this is foreplay then I am a dead man !" Ahahahahahahahahah ! In the future whether by natural evolution or genetic manipulation (I choose door number two) our species will no doubt acquire strong telepathic abilities in many areas that will be as standard in us as speech or seeing in color. It seems inevitable that given our species preoccupation with sex that Tantric Sex or Erotic Telepathy will no doubt become part of that standard development. Our current predominating structure of society whether through religion or state policy has allowed for the "Family Unit" as defined by a mother and father(woman and man) and undetermined number of offspring though almost certainly in the coming years many societies will have to come to terms with issues of space and limited resources by limiting families thereby following China's lead. It has only been in recent years that the definition of the family unit is starting to undergo change, reflecting the reality of same sex marriages through hard fought and won court cases. Change comes slow and with resistance because of attempts by religious groups to impose their moral code on the rest of society though "Church and State" are supposed to be separate(Apparently when that divorce came someone forgot to tell the church that the divorce is now final) The state, alas is reluctant to let go of the Christian/Judeo model as it has spent many centuries organizing itself into a structure that is geared to the family unit which presents the real problem. Our species is not monogamous by nature and routinely breaks it's own social/religious taboos. It was once thought that in the good old days good boys and girls saved it until marriage and the fear of hell fire and brimstone was that great deterrent to doing the wild thing but some long conducted socialogical studies have revealed that abstinence from decades back and beyond was a myth probably perpetuated by parents who hid their children's infidelities with the church's help to avoid public disgrace and hide the fact that religion's great experiment was failing..... badly ! In my province of Saskatchewan when they were doing sewer renovations on the pipes under an old convent "fetal bones" were found in the pipes. They were fighting a battle they couldn't win from the start as our drive to procreate and mix up the gene pool was hard wired millions of years ago so when people go to the zoo and point and laugh at the primate's sexual antics the question arises "What are those people laughing at ?" The human need to engage in denial is at the root of much of religion's failure in this regard because if we would just be openly honest about our polygamus nature from the beginning maybe religions would not have evolved with structures and moral codes that from my forty six years of existence on this planet most humans are not capable of living up to anyway. When people are finally ready to look in the mirror and come to terms with the reality of our species perhaps religions will evolve to accomodate those realities and we will unshackle ourselves from their unrealistic constraints. Enter Erotic Telepathy. With physical sex taking a back seat to Tantric Sex the consequences of polygamus sex such as STD 's and unwanted pregnancies will be gone. Gone would be the need for secrecy, privacy or even getting busted in the elevator(apologies to Aerosmith) as some of my best work has been in the company of other people. Many couples like the element of danger having sex where they might get caught but the ultimate rush is right under the nose of people who don't have a clue the whole universe is moving for two or more people in the room. I have seen the future and it is going to be one hell of ride when we finally throw the shackles off. I'm pretty sure it won't come in my time so I remain ever vigilant for those fellow pathfinders who would accompany me on this journey of discovery. We are the vanguards of this exciting voyage and I am humble and privileged for this opportunity to help chart the path of our species. - MIKADEMUS
