the day my heart died

away from me it i sent

not knowing how long it would be gone

or even where it went

the pain she had caused

was to much to bare

i had to send it away

so i would no longer care

to be cold, empty and unfeeling

so much easier then the pain

i had to send it away

till it is healed and whole again

to live life without love

yes it is a waste of time

i had to send it away

because it was yours, and never again to be mine.
