well, those on my friend list may have noticed i've added a new countdown clock to my page. i've bitten the bullet & this year i'm having my head shaved for World's Greatest Shave. this is an annual fundraiser run by the Australian Leukaemia Foundation. i'm doing this due to the fact that i've had friends i went through school with who had leukaemia & fortunately for them they both survived. anyways i'm hoping with the help of family, friends, workmates & the students at my daughter's school that i can raise a minimum of $1000 which i think isn't such a big ask considering the heartbreak that other people have to go through when family members are diagnosed with the disease. just so people know the length of my hair is halfway down my butt & i'm planning on having no blade used when my head is shaved so it's gonna be a major difference in looks, not to mention i'll be saving money on shampoo & conditioner LOL anyways i'm gonna leave this here & keep u all up to date as the date gets closer
