Eyes glisten and smiles shine
The mask of her heart's design
A shell to simply hold what's inside
It gets deeper as the tide flows
The pool of tears now grows
If I can find it, there is a drain
But she gasps for air as her lungs strain
I See her now for who she is to me
Break this shell and her heart will be free
For in that moment the flood will subside
The smile is no longer her mask, but the truth inside
