Please bear with me while I vent a little.....
Most of the people on my friends list are people whom requested to be MY friend. Some people on my friends list I did request to be my friend.
I try to treat my friends like someone that I care about. I drop by to say hello frequently, or rate their photos. I try to rate complete folders, that way I know that one is done unless you add more photos to it. In that case, I do return to check that I am still current with rating your pics.
I also rate your stash, and buy you gifts.
Now, I will admit....that I don't buy gifts for the return gift.
However, I rate your photos because I do like what you have posted ~ AND ~ I am also hoping for the return ratings for my photos.
I do search the web high and low for photos that are not common. I try to post photos that are not flying all over the net and everyone has seen them.
I like pics that are a little different and interesting.
I would never rate anything less than a 10. I even rate 10s on pics that aren't my cup of tea. If I really don't like the pic.....I simply won't rate it......that simple.
Another thing is I would never flag your pic as NSFW. I am mature and can handle seeing pics that are NSFW.
Someone on my friends list has flagged several of my pics as NSFW. I deleted one complete folder, simply because I was tired of the bouncers threatening to delete my account.
Now, I know that this was a "friend" because those folders are marked for friends only.
Many people have enjoyed the benefit of me rating complete folders of photos, and for many I have rated ALL of their photos......It would be nice if they could come over to rate at least some of mine. I try to keep my folders small so that it doesn't take a lot of time to rate my stuff, or you can rate a few and then return and rate more later on when you have more time.
I try to show my friends respect. I just wish that I could expect the same in return.
