Well it was a long couple of months but I finally got me a place ! yay! Im very greatfull and learned alot on the streets and hope it never happens again ! People are really judgemental ! I even made some friends and seen alot of people that love that life ! Its really sad there is not more help for the homeless and I hope to help them every chance I get ! Lots of love and thanks for not judging me you know who you are an please put the homeless in your prayers !
Hello again and still kicking ! I thought I would post a little gratitude ! I see all kinds of people from all over the states and me and this guy was talking ! He reminded me how there is people in the world that is worse off than I ! Wow then it hit me ! I have food, friends, and at least a tent over my head ! I can still work walk and have a chance to better myself ! Like I said this is just a bad moment ! I can go to church, stores, and even parks to enjoy ! There is alot of people that is worse off than I ! They dont even have bathrooms or toilet paper to wipe there ass ! They have no shelter or stoves ! No heat, No water no lights ! So when I have another bad moment in my life I will be and am very grateful for the things I have in life no matter how bad it seems to get ! There is people that has it alot worse as I ! God bless!
hey im still alive and found out that I cant blog from the library ! So I have to wait to get to a friends house to blog ! that is a bitch ! But to update everyone here it gose ! Over the past 2 weeks I have had someone rob me of my pack which included my cell phones and one of them was the camera phone I was taking pics of ! Im ok he didnt hurt me I just gave hime my pack and he run off! ! Well since then I got a replacement phone with no camera ! I replaced the other stuff and being a little more carefull ! I hope to be off these streets soon and move on with my life what ever that is ? lol Im in good spirits and going to church when I can get there ! Worst thing is walking im no spring chicken LOL ! So say some prayers and I love all of you! til then have a safe day and really im ok ! I think !
Well besides the rain it has been another blessed and safe day! Finally got my tent up and will be posting pix of the camp again ! I have and know plenty of places to eat ! Meeting good people in bad spots! Churches have said they can help but only for my meds which isnt the best place to have scripts is in the heat ! There is day centers to have a cup of coffee and sit for a while ! Like I said the walking is the worst part ! If I have to I will catch a bus I will but it is 1.75 and they give you a transfer for 2 hours ! So dealing with life and I might be able to work the temps for a while ? But one way or the other I will get off the streets soon ! Have a good day !
Well another day out here ! Meeting good people and making the best of a bad situation ! Time is slow out here ? Its like all the walking and catching busses is all I do ! Besides grabbing a good book or two at the library ! It moves slow and it is dangerous out there! Im in a good part of town but there was a killing 4 blocks up from my camp ! Its fenced in I just wish I had a key to the gate lol ! Really ! Food is good but work is another story ! Im running out of money quick ! But got a couple of leads on some side jobs just need to get my tools to the job! But its been over all pretty good Im alive and full stomach ! Greatfull to have another shot at another day!
Well lets see since my horriable month of july most people would say im basically homeless now ! ? Well I will document and post pictures of my time on the streets of lousiville ! Day 1 and 2 really sucked because of rain ! The tent I have really helps lol ! Im a advid hiker and know how to survive in the great outdoors thank god !!!!!!!!!!!! With the loss of my truck walking is really hard at 46 but my body will adapt ! I hope real quick ! LOL ! Learning all the places to eat is interesting ? Meeting alot of people and having a new respect for hanging out lol ! I will take the best of all of this and just survive til I make a way off theses streets ? Things are ok ! Just need to keep wood handy for a nice warm camp fire ! LOL ! I say my prayers at night and hope I could have yours ? Im just happy to be alive and well! God will watch over me and all I have to do is bring all the good out of this because it is teaching me in ways I could never have thought about life !
