In the light of the dark
In the doom of the gloom
Deep embittered embers glow
Caught in the whirlwind of emotions
Halfway to indecision
The spark flickers
Tossed in the myriad storm
The silent cacophony shouts its purpose
But no-one hears its cries
Engulfed by the atmosphere
Anxious fear reverberates,
Echoes down the corridors of his soul
Twisted torment howls its pain
Sobs in the quiet storm
As the embers sputters and dies.
