I am but pure dust
Fashioned from the earliest of what this world had to
Make me with

Created with passion and love
My mother bore witness
My father an addition to pride
My life is but a fleeting thought,
My small mark on eternity is made
But I am here never the less

My Name may not bear status
Among celebrity and fame
But I am great in the domain of which
I grow, dream and live
What burdens I bear are but my own,
My life is not open for scrutiny
It is mine and I choose to make it mine great or small

In the vastness of the universe I am but a nano speck
But in my world  I have left my legacy
I have but 2 daughters borne of my body to know their names
But a daughter and two sons  never to see their graves

Kayleigh  Michelle is the name I had chosen,
It is the name I have given to you the “Y’ not recorded
You were born on the date about 2 weeks over due
With hundreds of slashes and cracks on you
Into this world you did not want to come
You were content to just stay where you were,  even if overdone!
You were known to your maternal grandmother as “smiley”
The face and smile of an angel, As a babe a Perfect child in every way
Your birth was a sign of Victory, and the war I did fight
39 hours of labor and a fight for my life
It was well worth it for you did appear with about 30 members from church
Waiting and praying for you
The mark on your forehead  a V shape faintly in red
Stands for the Victory you are now as you were for me back then.
Ted Oliver was the Pastor that unofficially married me and your dad and he’s the one who
Said it was the Victory sign that appeared on your forehead.


Christian Danielle the meanings for the name are multi layered
Christian is what we say with our lives
It is the name of your maternal great great grandfather Frederick Christian Emil Roenfeldt
It is a name that your half-sister Shana  had liked and suggested to me
Danielle is the feminine form of Daniel
You had to be strong
You were born with skin that was blue
You needed to fight like a lion
While I carried you I had a strange craving
Bottles of lemon juice I would down like crazy

It caused me no problems until after your birth
Where my stomach was ulcered severly
And for weeks I would hurt
I could not take the medicine that the Dr’s prescribed
Because I was nursing you naturally
Even tho you were 10 lbs at your birth
You did not stay large for long
Over and over again in your life you would have to be strong
As a small child when you would get a fever
It would scare me to death for youd have a seizure
But you were to me my little doll
So kind and so tender
A gift from above
A gift I have missed from 1996  on……
I love you Christian

Then there is Dana Marie and Josiah Matthew who never saw my face
But I felt their movements from their earliest of dates
I have held them both in the palms of my hands
I have known no greater sorrow…they never got lifes chance
I have their memories in the deepest of my heart
And I feel like I will know them when from this life I depart

Adopted children Ive had along the way..
2 step children from my first marriage days
Shana born sha-na-na  named by her dad it seems, from a show with a Bowser
And all they dope that he had.
Then there was Christopher Michael born in December,
He has his face on an internet site in Texas
Where sex offenders are remembered
Then there was Jessica and Kenny placed in my home with jessicas
Newborn baby.
And Tiffany Clayton 11 yrs old.
Her parents weren’t the kind to take care of their own
And Marsha Ruiz Sweet innocent Marsha
Irez Reyes and her son Antonio Miguel,
I was there at his birthing as a grandmother should.
Then Melinda Slay and Beverly Jones, her mama’s a Clayton an Aunt to Tiffany.
Then there’s Ray Collier who married Beverly Jones and as soon as they were married it fell apart just as quick
And the Ruggles Boys who arent any good,
They party too much and use girls from the hood.

Until I can find more things to say
