My parents weren't big on affection when we were growing up, my father died some years ago so now there's only my mum. She has been fighting cancer for the last couple of years and alot of stuff has been sorted out so now our relationship is the best it has ever been. I guess when cancer intrudes on your life your priorities change and you reassess things.
