First day back at high school

I sat at the Piano gently gliding my fingers across the keys, when Alice approached me with that strange look on her face. “What’s wrong Alice” I asked since her thoughts were all cluttered.  “This will be one interesting School year for us” she replied.  “How so??” “I’m not quite sure, things are all fuzzy”. 

 We jumped in my Volvo and started off to school.  While driving I was thinking how interesting our school year could possibly be.  We arrived at the school and I parked the car, there was a scent so enticing wafting into my nostrils.  I listened carefully to all the thoughts around me to see if I could figure out where the source of this scent was coming from.  Ahhh the new girl Isabella Swan, the scent must be coming from her.  Her scent was eating at me, made my mouth water.  I had to find a way to keep a distance from her to make sure that we were never discovered as Vampires, for the smell of her was driving me wild.

 My first two classes went by smoothly, until lunch when the smell was even stronger then it was in the parking lot.   I headed to our usual table with the rest of my family, searching thoughts as I walked past for a hint on which girl Isabella was.  Finally I heard Mike Newton’s thoughts; sure enough Isabella was sitting at his table.  She was wearing a green and white shirt, very plain yet intriguing.  I concentrated to try and hear her thoughts, but nothing.  This intrigued me even more, someone who’s thoughts I could not read.  I turned my attention to Jessica’s thoughts and found out that Isabella prefers to be called Bella.

 I then noticed a girl sitting at a table alone, staring off into space.  She was beautiful, long flowing brown hair with blond highlights, tanned skin that looked like she had just come back from summer vacation in the Bahamas.  Her eyes were the brightest green I had ever seen, but she looked dazed and off in her own little world.  Suddenly Alice turned towards the girl sitting by herself, and she got that look on her face.  I guess this new girl was a part of the interesting school year Alice had been babbling about.  She looked familiar and I realized that was because she was in my trig class as well as history, she had sat quietly at the back during both classes. 

The bell rang and lunch was over, off to my biology class I went.  I took my seat and wasn’t paying attention when Bella came into the room.  The wind from the fan had caught her hair and blew her scent straight to me.  I gripped the desk trying to control the urge to fly across the lab table and kill her.  Unfortunately the only empty seat left in the class was the one next to me.  I sat as far away from Bella as humanly possible fighting the urge to kill her right then and there; as soon as the bell rang I sped out the class room door. 

I went to my next class which I was glad Bella was not in, after class I headed to the administration office to see if I could get out of Biology.  As I was talking to the receptionist asking her if there was a way I could change my third class the door opened and that scent that drove me wild was now present.  I turned towards the door and seen Bella standing there “Forget it I guess I’ll have to endure it”
