Car fog lights classified by their sockets which can be divided into 9005 fog light,9006 fog light,H1,H3,H4,H7,H8,H11 car fog lights. There leads a question: how to identify them?
9005,9006,H8 and H11 look like the same at the first sight. It needs careful observation to distinguish them from each other. Sockets of 9005,9006 fog lights are higher than that of H8 and H11 fog lights. Furthermore, there is a metal film on top of sockets of the H8,H11 fog lights while 9005,9006 fog lights don’t own it. The metal film of H8 is much larger than H11.There are two notches inside the socket of 9005 fog light and one inside 9006 fog light, We can identify them with our eyes directly.
It is very easy to recognize H1,H3,H4 H7 fog lights. We will call out their name as long as we remember their features. The biggest difference between them is their pins. There is 1pin with H1 fog light,2pins with H7 and 3pins with H4 fog light. The tail of H3 socket is attached by a line.
