well here is something that crossed my mind and made me stop and think. it has to do with blood and organ donations and i mean the legal way. tonight i was going through my email and came a across a newsletter from the canadian blood services which is the main group in canada that deals with blood and bone marrow donations. see the reason why i got the newsletter is the fact that i am a blood donor. in the last i would say 12 yrs i have given a total of 25 times. i first started back in high school at a blood donor clinic that was held there. then i stopped for awhile and in the last 5 yrs i have given a total of 24 times plus the one in high school. so in that time my blood has helped tons of people. and in doing so has made me happy. there is always the need for blood cause you may never know when you yourself may need it due to surgery or other things. and knowing that you can make a difference in someones life should count for something. but i find people are scared to give blood. i understand if you cant medically wise but if you are fit and know your blood is safe why not donate. and the same goes to bone marrow and organ donations. here in ontario our health card actually has a spot saying we have agreed to organ donation. so to me being a donor is a big deal. so to everyone i encourage you all to at least donate once cause we can all feel good about ourselves. well i guess that is my thought for tonight thanks and have a great night all
