Rest Eternal
In our life, we all struggle
Each Step of every day
We all face challenge and adversity.
Everything we choose to do
Everyone we speak too
Is a new connection.
Every connection touches
Wether a person, or a place
That stays there, permanent.
In Death, we find peace
Our burdens we lay
And rest, finally, in peace.
When rest, we finally find
Pain and loss are left
For friends and family.
We hope their grief
Does not consume
The lives of those we leave behind.
Live, we wish we could say
Celebrate the memories
Of the Good we did, and the joy we brought.
Remember us as we were
Friend, family do not lose yourselves
In grief at our rest.
We found our peace, our rest
Do not grive overly
Instead, remember us.
We now lie, at peace
And pray, for you, in your struggles
And wait, for you to at last to rest
And, in peace, eternal, together again.
