This is a text conversation that I just had with Rich about his bills. His bills are always late. Once in a blue moon, they would be paid on time. Even his mom helps him out on his bill, such as his car payment monthly....he was telling me that comcast might be shut off tonight or tomorrow or sometime soon. He asked me if I could pay for his bill and he would pay me back and I told him "I don't think so" ......My reason...because he needs to pay more attention to his bills and be more responsable....
Me....Why don't you just call comcast on your break before it gets shut off Why do you always do your bills so late and pay them when they get shut off?
Him...Well i would but have a check from om to cover but I was slowed from getting to a bank to deposit it.
Me...So mom is paying for it? Is that the reason for the check?
Him...Helping out not fully paying for it if I could I'd take care of it next check , but because of Mittens and the credit union, I lost the funds I would need to take care of it last week.
Me...Do you ask me to pay for it and you would pay me back? When would that be and isn't the bill like $300?
Him...Doesn't need to be the full 300. 150 should do it and it would be tomorrow.

Him...I have $114 in the back so I would have $64 for the week so you have to worry about covering me.

Me...I wasn't even talking about that. I'm asking how would you pay me back if I took care of your bill.

Me...I think that after this next check, you need to start paying more attention to when your bills come up instead of having them paid late every so often. I know that things do come up and you're not able to but you need to manage it better.

Me...Ok..I also think you should find another co signer if dad keeps getting those calls. I get annoyed recieving those calls and having to tell you.
Him...I get annoyed when stuff gets thrown my way to where I cannnot pay it on time. You act like I don't pay on purpose or like it's not even on my mind.

Him....well sometimes it feels like you don't even think of the events prior to me being late and act like it should have never been late.

Him...She helps on car and our rent. this is the first time in a while I've asked her money other than that.

Me...I know that too, but still need to work out a plan to where that doesn't happen.
Him...I could plan all I want but it prolly won't work...Willing to try of course but how I already have it is 1st check goes to rent and 2nd check goes to car and comcast if that's not enough of a plan then I can go over what comes out of my check for a month and really see where things go.
